Isuzu Crosswind Owners Thread [ARCHIVED]

Morning po sa lahat. Maki sali rin po, Newbie lang ako dito at nakabili rin ng 2nd hand crosswind. Tanong ko lang po dahil sa registration ng crosswind 2006 M/T ko ay XTRM, classified ba ito as XUV or XT? Pwede rin po ba ito ma upgrade to Sportivo look? If so, ano name & address ng shop na pwede mag pa upgrade.

Any feedback is much appreciated, salamat.

gud am, i have a 2003 xuv, ask ko lang everytime na nalulubak ung left front wheel may nakalampag sa steering wheel, pinacheck ko na ung chassis wla naman daw problem sbi ng mechanic... ano kya problem nun?... hope you can help guys... tnx....

Hello all! Well, we just got our brand new Crosswind XTi last night. I drove it around the village for a couple of minutes. Medyo disconcerting and underwhelming. A bit slow, not very refined (matagtag), noisy, and the fumes are still a bit nauseating. But that's fine. We did buy it for it's reliability, fuel economy, and pang-harabas traits so I can't really complain.

Good points: quite spacious, not that expensive (barely over PhP900,000), basic and straight-forward interior layout. This is our first diesel-engined car kaya it'll take a bit of time getting used to it.

I just hope it lives up to its "workhorse-like, chiselled-from-granite" reputation in the long run. I'll try to post pics soon.

BTW, is there any way of turning off the alarm system? Pag naka-park lang kasi sa bahay, gusto namin hindi na naka-arm yung alarm. Ingay kasi eh. I-on na lang ulit pag nasa public parking or sa mall kami? Thanks!

napalitan ko na tie rod and ball joints un kse sabi ng mechanic sa casa, pero meron pa rin kalampag... napansin ko rin medyo nag loose ang steering, pinacheck ko sa casa sabi nila steering coupling naman daw...

san ba mga sir shop na genuine parts at mura, sa casa double or thrice minsan ang price kase....

ganyan tlga sir, malaking adjustment tlga lalo na kpag nasanay ka sa gas engines but you'll get used to it... i have my xuv for 7 years, hanggang ngayon di pa ko tinitirik nito, reliable....

nagustuhan nga ng family namin ang performance ng xuv kya recently lang bmili kme ng sportivo...

regarding sa car alarm, i press mo ung blue button na may icon na speaker. hindi sya mag aalarm pero iilaw ang hazard kpag gumana ung sensor...

nagpakabit na ako dun ng rear stabilizer bar..it cost me around 3.5K so far maganda naman effect nya. Daytona yung brand name nya, kulay orange...tanong ko lang has anyone of you guys heard the whistling sound of the expansion valve of the ACU underneath the glove box?...naiirita kasi ako ng ingay nya evrytime mag eengage yung compressor nya, may kasama pang "tik" sound sa thermostat sensor nya twing mag eengage. naririnig nyo rin ba yang sainyo kung may ganito..TIA

if gusto mong ioff yung alarm totally, lock the door using the key not the remote of the alarm. Ganyan ginagawa ko pag nasa parking lang ng bahay.

Possible may damage na yun bolt na nagkokonek sa pitman arm at center link o yun shock absorber. Better have it check immediately to experienced mechanic. Any damage related to you steering wheel will lead you to catastrophic accident.

thanks for the advise bro.... may isa ulit ko tanong, medyo lundo na ung likod ng xuv ko sa tagal na rin cguro nito, kapapalit ko lang ng shocks ung gas type na pinakabit ko pero kulang pa rin sa taas... pano mapapataas to gaya ng mga bagong models???

Sir kevin ang ginagawa ng erpats mo ay kagaya nung reply ni kambal. press lang ung blue button na icon para ilaw lang pg ioopen or close yung alarm .

Yung chrome door handles ba na nabibili dinidikit lang sa ibabaw o need pa na open buong assembly para palitan? Xti kasi sakin e gusto ko sana gawing chrome.

Tapos ung chrome tail light cover 1300.

Bumili rin ako ng chrome Cover don sa fuel tank 500 na my crosswind na emblem. Sa Kid Audio me nagpakabit. Hindi ko alam pumunta sa Banawe.
Pero ok na rin babayad pa ako ng tollgate saka pagas ganon din aabutin.

ang mahal yata ng chrome handles mo? metal ba yan skin kasi plastic chrome handles lang na may 3m adhesive 450 lang sa banawe.

yup tama ka, yung 1k pala yung sa tail light cover, mga 500 nga pala yung handles. sabay sabay kase namin nabili a few months back kaya nalito na ko. dun ako sa autogard evangelista bumili.

may benta rin silang chrome nilalagay sa plate garnish around 1k pero hindi na namin pinatulan. baka huling mod ng tatay ko dun is bullbar, mejo mahal pa eh around 5k.
