kamusta last EB?(last 20 Feb) papost naman ng pics jan...mga pre, naiinis lang ako sa ACU ko. sumisipol yong expansion valve nya sa ilalim ng dash board. pinalitan na to ng Denso (kasi denso may gawa ng Xwinds) pero after few months ganun na naman. naiirita lang kasi ako ng ingay...anyone can suggest on what to do?...wala ba kayong napapansin na ganito sa xwinds nyo? sabi kasi sakin sa denso ito daw tlaga sakit ng ACU ng xwind.

guys, we have an '08 xuv. have a question here, at what mileage is it appropriate to bring and test her at its max speed?

with 5K run through her at a long straight, i have tried to fully stepped the pedal and can't seem to get her to reach 120kph. is this normal?

Yes its normal. Most diesel engines take awhile to loosen up and wear properly. I am really surprised your trying so hard at just 5K to exceed 120kph. Be nice to your vehicle. The crosswinds have a small diesel and are highly reliable, but are just not made to go much faster than 130kph.

anyways, i rarely do these high speed run, and have stretch it no longer than 5 seconds - ... i usually run in the 50-70kph, its almost more like "babying" the car, which i have read somewhere in the net that it also is not very advisable for diesel engines..

mga sirs saan recommended magpa change oil, ok din ba sa mga shell service centers? gusto ko rin sana tune up ng diesel engine, 136k na rin kasi mileage ng hilander ko. Thanks in advance!

fabilioh, i've tried different oils pero Shell Helix Diesel (yellow) ang nagustuhan ko. Okay rin ang Petron Trekker - mas mura konti rather than what Isuzu suggest na monograde SAE40. I change oil every 6 months with less than 3,000 kms.

regarding tune up i guess monitor mo FC niya kung normal naman gaya sa kin nasa 12-13kms/li pa rin so no need na ipagalaw. i just replace my fuel filter once a year but kung medyo abnormal na nga i suggest mag first opinion ka sa CASA. mura na lang rin tune up nila.

Thanks XTO, actually last change oil ko Trekker na gamit ko, FC ko is nasa 10, fully loaded, Antipolo-Ayala traffic back and forth, normal lan ba yun or pa check ko na rin sa CASA? Onga pala I also replaced my fuel and air filters on my last change oil.

IMO at 10 kms per liter tapos fully loaded pa is di na masama and good enough for 100K+ 4JA1. with akyatan pa yan. as long as hindi belching and no oil consumption walang problema. but kung libre ka drop by ka to any isuzu casa for cost ng tune up. agahan mo lang para wala pang pila.

sa air filter kahit monthly mo pahanginan sa mga gas stations para mas ramdam ang response.

yes trademark na yata ng 4ja-1 yan but i noticed na during cold starts lang may white smoke but pag mainit na wala siya.

minsan kasi once pinagalaw lalo pa nagkakaproblema. linisan mo rin ang exhaust system at least once a month. lagyan mo ng dishwashing liquid (mga 10ml) yung tip ng garden hose to be use then insert mo sa tail pipe, open the faucet till mag overflow then rev it up to 2500 to 3000 rpm then repeat it for another 2 or 3 times WITHOUT DISHWASHING LIQUID para mabanlawan.

you will notice walang usok yan. even emission testing center magugulat

haha, will try yung dishwashing liquid technique mo next time ang nagawa ko before eh saksakan ng hose yung parang inlet pipe sa engine tapos rev, puro burak ang sinuka ng tailpipe, buti di natalsikan yung kapitbahay

ah yes may inlet pala sa may engine sa 'yo. sa tailpipe mo padaanin kung may dishwashing para pasok hanggang bago umakyat then rev it up then banlaw ng mga 2-3 times . garantisado yan, 0.48 ang reading ko sa emission test daig pa CRDi

Hello po! Got a 2003 XUVi here, just wondering where can I get hold of center tire caps po. Mine was stolen within the Manila area and I ve noticed that Xuv's as well as the Xuvis there have no more center tire caps. Would there be any replacement for this, yung legit po sana, Thanks!

Bili ka na lang oil sa casa and oil filter. anyway almost the same lang naman ng price sa gasoline satation mga oil nila. tapos pagawa mo sa trusted mo na gas station labor na lang babayaran mo. almost the same lang gastos orig pa nailagay mo.

Hello peeps! Just recently acquired a 2001 XTO because my family is getting bigger for a regular sized sedan. First time diesel engine ko po ito. Would appreciate any advice or warning.
