Haha! Hindi nga ako bibili ng Chevy TB o kahit pa Isuzu MU-X kasi nga hindi nga yan mga type ko sir Numbah5 dahil nga wala ako common sense.... Pang may analytical mind lang yang Trailblazer chief, di tayo bagay diyan ;).... Meron ngang old Safeguard soap emblem na golden pa kulay, so it must be very special yan sir YES!

Ilang beses na sinabi yan sa mga posts ko dito.... If ever bibili man ako bago, malamang Nissan Patrol or Ford Everest Concept or VW Amarok the two kung darating man sa Pinas.... Alin ang mas magaan? Dmax or TB? Curb weight nang dmax 4,300lbs vs 4,600-700lbs nang TB is a big difference imho. Buti pa kung yung sa Alterra (4,000lbs+ din curb weight iirc) since same engine din naman. 0-100 in 14.9s. Also, hindi naman acceleration at top speed binibili sa SUV na ganyan diba? eysports cars na lang kung ganun.

The acceleration time was on both pickups - Dmax and the Colorado.

I don't have the 0-100 numbers yet for the MUX, but once I do I'll post it here.

In real life I don't accelerate hard. This is the main cause of bad fuel consumption( also cruising at 185kph:sunny.

I only mentioned the acceleration numbers for comparison. I'll be posting more numbers once more info arrives.

Ok din naman powerful ang engine ng sasakyan kasi kapag kinailangan mo ng power, nariyan lang siya. kaya sana huwag nang ipagdamot ng IPC sa ating mga Pinoy yung bago nilang makina. huwag naman tayong gawing tapunan ng lumang makina. keep posting sir para sa update nitong MU-X para mas maraming references ang mga nagbabalak bumili nito pagdating ng panahon. who knows isa sa atin dito ang makabili at magpost dito ng first hand experience and review about the new MU-X.

personally ayaw ko sa bagong Alterra/MU-X parang naging copycat na lang ala china products.

GM has a stake in Isuzu Motors. Its quite obvious Alterra MU-X is a rebadge TB.

Not exactly a rebadged TBZ..Their only similarities are the chasis and the sheet metal and interior.

AFAIK...regarding rebadging. These two examples stand out.
1. toyota and subaru came out with BRZ and the GT86...same boxer engine and tranny..body also almost 90% identical
2. ford ranger and mazda bt50...same 3.2 engine and tranny almost 80% identical

Habang mas maraming pagpipilian sir mas mainam. anong buwan kaya lalabas ang MU-X or montero? actually 1st choice ko talaga yung Ford everest na bago but it seems it will take sometimes before it will reach our shore, 2nd choice is TBZ but if MU-X will be out in 1st quarter of 2014 baka MU-X na lang. di pa naman final. malay natin baka bigla ring maglabas ang toyota ng all new fort hehe

1. Ford Everest might be released last quarter of 2014 to early 2015. Its still under development. For sure other markets first before hitting the Philippines
2. Isuzu Mux won't be released in the next 6-12months. Target market for now is Thailand and Au. matagal tagal pa sir.
3. The Montero will be released in Thailand/Au/Malaysia first. more like 2015 before it gets to our shores.
4. New Fort maraming stock ang toyota so I doubt they'll be releasing anything new for 2014.
