    Wala pa sir full specs. What I only know is that the engine that will power the MU-X is the 2.5L 4JK1-TCX VGS with 136 ps and 320 Nm of torque. 5 speed automatic and manual transmissions. Yun ang sinabi ni autoindustriya which their own numerous insider sources also said. Kahit din yung friend ko na dealer principal ng Inteco group at Chevrolet Commonwealth yun din ang sinabi sa akin. Kaya nga at 1.743M for the top of the line variant, masyadong mahal dahil yan lang ang engine na gagamitin.

    If that is the case, then it is pretty much like the 4JJ1 TC engine that the current Alterra has.

    The current Alterra has 146 hp and 294 Nm of torque while the MU-X with 4JK1-TCX has 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The 4JK1 has 26 more Nm of torque but 10 hp less. So I guess, it will run like its older brother but the low end grunt will be much more felt. The only difference will be the top speed and acceleration since it has lesser hp.

    Autoindustriya has already said that according to their numerous insider sources, hindi ilalabas ang 3.0 4JJ1-TCX VGS engine dito due to fuel issues. Kahit din yung dealer principal of both the Inteco Group and Chevrolet Commonwealth yun din ang sinabi sa akin. Wag ka na makulit po please.

    So that means no DRL for the Philippine market? Pricey nga talaga. Tapos 17" lang ang mags and tires eto mismong may-ari na ng Inteco group na friend ko nagsabi sa akin kanina, no 3.0 4JJ1-TCX VGS for the Philippine market MU-X. Tingin niya mas magiging mabenta pa rin daw ang TOTL at mid spec variants ng Trailblazer sa kanyang Chevrolet dealership (Chevrolet Commonwealth) kesa sa mid spec at TOTL variants ng MU-X since according to him, ang gusto ng mga buyers ng ganung variants ay more powerful engine and more features. Pero tingin niya, sa base variant kayang talunin ng MU-X ang Montero Sport GLX variant.

    So I assume na yon na din ang engine for TOTL.

    Ayoko lang i-post kasi mapagalitan yong SA na nagbigay sa akin. Tsaka ko na i-post pag ni-reveal na fully yong Mu X.

    good scoop bro. thanks. Malaysia has been using this 2.5vgs series with their euro2 fuels. kaya tested na nila sa euro2 yan 2.5 VGS.

    2 months ago lng nilabas yun euro2 3.0 VGS, kala ko ilalabas din nila dito yun 3.0 VGS dito ahhahahah

    4jk1-tcx 2.5 16 psi

    EURO2 Malay
    4jj1-tcx 3.0 17.3 psi
    4jk1-tcx 2.5 18.1 psi

    lets see if these will hold true for the 2.5VGS

    Kung kayang lunokin ng mga high horse R e-VGT ng Hyundai/Kia, at VM Motori ng Chevrolet ang local fuels, ano ba problema nila? Does this mean that the 4JJ1-TCX is much less reliable than the above mentioned engines?

    Mas utilitarian ang customers ng Isuzu. Eto yong mga tipong tiga malayong lugar na ang fuel quality ay di ganon kaganda.
    Yon siguro ang iniiwasan nila na magka problema sila.

    You got that right sir. Most customers of Isuzu are those that use their Isuzu vehicles for their business and pangharabas sa daan at probinsya. Kaya baka that's the reason why IPC doesn't want to release the 3.0 4JJ1-TCX VGS engine. Ayaw na nila maulit yung leaking injectors problem ng CRDi Trooper nila dati. Siguro isa sa mga motto ng IPC ngayon is "Better to be safe than sorry"

    May ibang reason yan. Kalokohan yang fuel quality. Yung mga luxury brand nga mga latest engines ang inioffer dito. Ayaw lang siguro ng isuzu main. Para sa ibang bansa siguro ang allocation nun or whatever reason

    Takot lang ang Isuzu Philippines na maulit yung leaking injectors issue na naranasan ng mga Trooper CRDi owners noon. They are playing it safe ika nga
