its not the seats. its the bottom part where your calves hit the carpet.
I see... No knees up position then.

StockEngine, wag kana makulit. I own and drive a Trailblazer so I know what I'm talking about. Both the new Alterra and the Trailblazer have no knees up position at the 3rd row. Ilang beses na ako umupo sa 3rd row ng TB namin for many hours, I didn't have a knees up position. I have a height of 5"6.

That may be because you're 5"6. You wouldn't have problems with most SUV 3rd rows. I'm around 5"11, and have issues with just about every front-facing 3rd row I've tried other than a van's. That makes things a bit different.

My uncle is a 6 footer, he's shopping around for a new 7 seater SUV nowadays. Big consideration to him is the leg room of the 3rd row. He rode shotgun with me 2 weeks ago on the TB and 4 weeks ago on the Monty. He sat on the 3rd row of both my SUVs. He told me that on the TB he didn't had a knees up position unlike on the Monty.
I don't get why StockEngine would insist that there is a slight difference on the 3rd row leg room of the TB and the new Alterra even though the 2 SUVs share the same platform and the same interior, exterior and wheelbase dimensions. In order for the Alterra to have a slightly better 3rd row leg room, the 3rd row seats should be a bit more elevated on the Alterra than the TB.

The only differences I can see clearly are the instrument cluster, the font colors of the Auto Climate Control A/C, the color of the leather seats, the tail lights, the engine, the transmission, the antenna, the DRL and the grille that also includes tge head lamps. Aside from that, nada.

I get you bro. And I think I know what StockEngine is referring to. If you look closely at the pictures comparing the Trailblazer and Alterra 3rd rows, you'd notice that the Trailblazer's seems to be rather uneven (malubak) while the Alterra's looks quite flattened or ironed out. I wonder how big the difference will be though. And then again, if the Alterra's seats are indeed more elevated, that would mean even lesser headroom...

Sa mga merong kakilala sa isuzu phils baka meron na kayong balita kung kelan darating itong new alterra dito sa Pinas.
Thailand just opened a new factory just for this SUV. Their goal at the moment is Right Hand Drive for Australia(to be released there by December of this year) and Thailand of course.
The latest Generation of DMax for the Philippines will be built in the Philippines and this required the IsuzuPH to upgrade their facilities.
In short it will take a while, like 1-2 years before it gets released here.
Just in ...:kick:
