Perhaps we have to wait ut out til 2016 when all the rest are launched in the market. Bka magdip na un price ng 2.5 then we attack haha.
Re FC: I think it is probable that 3.0 is more efficient with 2.5? Same body weight but the other has more power? Just like boxing. Same division but one guy has that pop in his punch? Sorry guys. Puro questions.
Highway driving insignificant siguro. Sa stop and go makikita mas malakas konsumo, probably 1 km/l due to idle pero I might be wrong. Kung mabigat paa mo, ibang usapan na yunPero as they say, there's no replacement for displacement. Kung halagang 50k lang difference di ko na iisipin yan, mas mahirap ma buyer's remorse.
May nagpost dito na ang 3.0 daw is rated 12km/l lang (not sure if highway or city). I can get 15 to 16 km/l on my 2.5 sa highway. If the 3.0 FC is true, medyo malayo ang discrepancy in terms of FC. If you will use the vehicle daily, medyo mapapaisip ka. Pero wait and see pa din talaga. I believe it will still be fuel efficient for a 3.0 since its not really tuned that high but I'm not expecting 3.0 4jj1 non vgs tipid.
As for me, I bought the Mux knowing na may lalabas na 3.0L so no remorse naman. This is what I get for being impatient.

Kung pagbabasehan yung lumang Alterra with the old 4JJ1, that can do 14-15 km/l on a steady foot at 80+kph. Etong upgraded turbo, baka mas malakas nga pero knowing Isuzu tuning, hindi rin magkakalayo. Kumusta ba transmission ng MU-X, ilan rpm yung 100kph?

Drove 2.5 4X2 twice to Baguio. We were packed but floored it a couples of times or more I guess, even got to 180 around TPLEX ata. So no questioning 2.5s power. Bka lng for some reason better un FC ng 3.0 sa city driving. FYI. Serious buyer here. Daily commute sa matinding traffic route (McArthur Hiway-EDSA). Pls advise too the features difference between the 2.
Parang inverter aircon lang siguro yan, kung ang rated ng 30 sqm eh 1.5HP, get the 2.0Hp para lalo mas matipid sa kuruente, di gano hirap ang makina
3.0 will always be more thirsty than a 2.5li unless nalang kung truck ang dala mo..
Irregardless ang FC, itong 3.0 ay best bang for your money sa mga SUV ngayon.
I tested steady 2k rpm in the highway and it is 120kph so around 1800 rpm siguro ang 100kph. 2.5 4x2 AT
Saving up on the 2.5 4x2 na. Next year bka significant drop na price nya. Hehe
