Done with my 1.5k pms. Oil and filter were the only things replaced. No need to replace other fluids. They will do it in the first General pms. Overall happy with isuzu marcos hwaym total damage 3.4k using isuzu multi z synthetic blend
Nope. ISUZU Philippines revised the standard 1.5k pms according to my SA. I have a slight OCness tho sa oil level. Its above the max mark up to the shaded area of dipstick. Total oil we put in was 6.7liters. Manual states 7.0 liters when changing oil plus filter. I guess its no biggie.
I agree on your concern regarding compliance of MU-X with Euro IV emission standard. So have any of the actual owners of MU-X inquired with their dealers regarding compliance to Euro IV emission standard? I think the full implementation of Euro IV will take effect in Jan. 2016.
Even Isuzu EVP admitted that it will take at least 2 years to prepare their vehicles to comply with Euro IV emission standard. Euro 4 on July 1 ‘impossible’ – DOE | The Manila Times Online
What's the deal here, hindi ba tatakbo ang MUX once nag shift to Euro 4 compliant Diesel ang mga oil companies ? How about in other countries like Australia & Thailand that has MUX as well, hindi din ba sila Euro 4 compliant ? It seem's by that EVP statement naka isolate ang problem dito lang sa pinas, totally rediculous.

Speaking of, 1 year na pala next week ang mu-X namin running on Euro IV diesel only.
When we shifted to euro2 compliant fuels a few years ago, noticed ko daming sira sa diesel injection pump. The gaskets dried up. The early rubber were not designed to handle diesel without high sulfur content for lubrication. We don't know what will happen
If euro2 ang design ng engine, we need at least 6 months after euro4 implementation to know the after effects. The rubber will not shrink in a week or two. It takes time. Kahit sa isuzu, they say they need 2 yrs to shift to euro4.
The newer 4JK1 engine is designed to be Euro IV compliant anyway. Btw,
IPC is ready for the Euro IV transition.

Theres a nice Q&A posted in shell.com.sg regarding the effects of EURO IV fuel to old engines.
I agree with you sir, Cavite & Batangas have better deals.
I'd have to test drive this. Sana meron sa dealer in cavite. Sabi nila medyo heavy steering? Ok lang kaya...? Female driver here.
Also...experience nyo guys...saan mas mabilis mag release ng plate #s. Sa CAVITE or ALABANG branch? Pls share your waiting experience. Thank you. And nakapili ba kayo ng ending #?
Relax.
Re lubricity in euro 4 diesels, sa mga naunang batches ng euro 4 lang ang concern nito and they have adjusted this a long time ago. Probably before eu4 diesels reached our shores.
Also eu4 engine oils used should be compatible to eu4 diesels. These are low ash oils. Im confident that isuzus CI4 rated oils are at par.
Been using unioil ever since for our new diesels without any problems. In fact mas clean burning pa nga.
