Congrats sa bagong Ford Everest mo sir, sana walang sakit ng ulo ibigay sayo ang makina at sana tumaas din ang RESALE VALUE na ng Ford. I'm not after with the PERFORMANCE of the engine doon ako sa DURABILITY. Kung performance ng makina pinagsasabi mo madali lang yan i modify mo ang ECU or palgyan mo ng DTP Chip. HIndi ka naman ata bumili ng SUV para pang karera after all that POWER ay hindi mo rin magagamit sa PINAS considering the horrible traffic. MUX is tuned for fuel efficiency and durability. By the way the MUX engine 4JK1 TC is considered one of the robust engine in the world (Isuzu Japanese proven technology). Kung gusto mong palakasin ang engine nito palagyan mo ng DTP CHIP and will give you an 180+HP and 440+TORQUE hayan pwede mo na yan pang karera. Sa THAILAND pala kapatid na kung saan lahat ng mga sasakyan doon nanggaling kulelat ang FORD. Even the Ford Ranger same engine with the New Everest coudn't make an edge with the D-MAX. Bakit kaya???

Ganyan din sinabi ko noon sa ford ranger 2.2 ko. Wow daming features, good power delivery. Purrs like a cat. Until after 9mos found out na kinakalawang physically ang ibabaw ng injectors. Then multiple check engine lights na. Then nabasa ko cracking fmic etc. Sold the ranger for a dmax. Ended up happy.

Yung previous focus tdci namin at 60tkms turbo repair na din.

Anyway congrats and good luck (as in you might need it kasi) sa purchase. Iba naman ang everest sa ranger (tho same puma engine and parts). Baka naman walang maging problema. Reliability din kasi ang habol ko. Sayang ampogi din sama for me ng new everest.

After the Everest came out, we checked it out personally sa showroom. The only thing I liked sa interior eh mas malambot ng onti yung seats. Whichever row your're seated it feels cramped lalo na sa headroom.

After a year of driving it nasanay na ako mag overtake, pwede naman gamitin ang manual mode kung feeling mo eh mabibitin ka, or mas maganda kung maghintay ka ng mas magandang timing. Noise? Hindi naman maingay engine ng mu-X eh, maganda naman insulation, just enough to keep outside noise audible pero di naman sobrang ingay. Bago pa lumabas next generation PPVs the mu-X had the best suspension setup, even better than the TB. Plus yung video na lumabas yung nakahati na Everest, it doesn't have much articulation.

Bottomline, no regrets in buying the mu-X days after launch. All we need is a reliable, comfortable and efficient car. Mas lalo lang kami na discourage tumingin sa iba nung lumabas mga sakit ng makina ng ibang brands unlike Isuzu's. Plus there's too much electronics on it, obviously mas mataas maintenance over time.

my wife and i have repeatedly test drove the mu-x from different dealerships and all we can say it's a big bang for the buck considering its features which we think would stand above the rest in its segment...

one thing which caught my attention is the issue on its power especially in terms of overtaking...i believe na nasa driver po ang diskarte pagdating sa overtaking...sukatan po iyan ng driving skills...saka most likely sa expressway ka lang naman palagi mag-oovertake o sa mga kalsada such as edsa o commonwealth ave o roxas blvd na walang trapik...

when i was a staff of a politician a few years back, isuzu crosswind xto (malamang early 2000s model yun) ang service namin at 1st gen ford expedition ang sa boss namin...pag kasama namin sya sa travel e nagiging back-up vehicle kami...pero still nakakatutok kami at nakakahabol sa expe kahit sa expressway kasi dapat close proximity kami sa boss namin dahil kahit 4 cylinder diesel engine lang ang crosswind eh triton v8 naman ang driving skills ng driver namin...

sa tingin ko ang pagpili ng sasakyan ay, tulad ng sinasabi ng nakararami, depende sa totoong need ng owner at ng kanyang pamilya...

actually sir gnawa na po namin yan recently when we were in the market for a pick-up truck but we ended up buying a mid size suv at isa nga sa rin sa tinignan namin nuon itong mux at nag test drive po kami sa isuzu commonwealth and prior to that nissan navara np300 po talaga ang choice namin nun we also did a test drive of the top of the line navara with 190 ps at mapapawow ka talaga sa power nung bagong np300, with regards po sa power ng mux ewan ko po kung hinataw nio po ba talaga nuon nung tinest drive nio siya kasi adequate naman po ang power nia sa overtaking cguro nga po mas malakas ung new everest pero i doubt na kayang niang iwanan ang mux sa hatawan (2.5) stock vs (2.2) stock, kung hindi lang cguro sa discount na binigay ng mitsubishi samin baka mux din talaga nakuha namin hehe we were given a discount of almost 120k para sa 2014 model monty gls-v kaya un na kinuha namin no regrets lakas ng vgt ng mitsu hehe
