Not that the Mu-x lacks power but for power freaks, I find this a good remedy. :P

The dpchip is plug and play but they will program it to each vehicle prior installation.

May I ask how much improvement sa HP and torque after the installation and pwede ba ito DIY tuning for choice between power and efficiency?

I'm amaze by the need for all the power and speed. If that's what you people are looking for, buy a muscle car mustang or camaro. MUX is not for that kind of thing but it can do a lot of things, muscle cars can't.

Didnt get chance to dyno but I think torque is in the 380nm to 400nm-ish.

It can be tuned to your liking but i just leave it in mid setting as what berrima recommended.

Re efficiency, I dont really care but on normal driving its .4kpl more efficient in the city. But but but...if you hataw, lakas din sa fuel :p

Thanks Djerms, good to hear about the improvement. I don't need the additional on power to race or to over-speed kasi it will be for family use I just need a quick burst to overtake safely when the need arises nasanay kasi ako sa Ranger kaya when i test drove the MU-X i felt the difference but attaining a torque of 380nm plus improved fuel efficiency is substantial and will make me feel safer to overtake sa long drive marami na kasi di marunong magbigay sa daan kaya minsan dangerous specially overtaking very long vehicles. Pwede rin naman maghintay for the right opportunity pero minsan need talaga otherwise pila ka lang or bubusinahan ka ng nasa likod mo so they can also overtake the long vehicle. Overall maganda ang MU-X na-surprise ako sa ganda ng ride and it's easy to maneuever plus value for money rin ang 4x2 auto my added concern also is its compatibility to Euro 4 fuels.

ang DTP CHip optimum setting ay nasa 185HP at 440+ TORQUE. That's a lot of power. MUX has a unique engine tuning. It was tuned for fuel efficiency and durability for longer use, plus it has a wide band of flat torque so going uphill is easy. I guess, the engine was tuned as such.

Thanks for the info on DTP Chip. Im using berrimas DPchip however. Tuning is more on conservative side for engine reliability and durability. However the more power, the shorter the engine life.
