Like what I said before here sa forums, kahit anong lock pa yan kung nanakawin, nanakawin talaga. Walang mahirap sa magnanakaw.

Pearl white when clear coated/waxed looks extra amazing compared to other colors. Yours look dull-no offense bro. Have cquartz coating. You will love the gloss. No more waxing for 2 years. Regular washes lng.

Non taken, bro. I appreciate the comment. Though I though the clear coat is enough or may act as paint protection. Now that being said, saan kaya dito sa south may service for paint protection. I'm from Bacoor to be exact.

    Many thanks again.

This thread has been very helpful. It made me decide to pick Isuzu MU-x over the others after months of deliberating hehehe. SA just called to tell me the unit is ready for shipping. I'm in Cebu kasi. She told me the good news na may P20k discount for the 3.0 hehe . So, how much for the cquartz coating and to my fellow Bisdaks, is it even available here?

Mga sirs, I'm trying to decide between the 2.5L and the 3.0L Mu-X, one of my concerns is the engine noise (at least, yung rinig sa loob). Malaki po ba ang diperensya? This seems trivial, pero nagsawa na po kasi ako sa maingay na makina, although I know it's inherent sa diesels (coming from a 2010 Strada, 4d56, non-VGT). Tsaka po, what does it mean if the bigger displacement produces the same (more or less) amount of hp and torque compared to another engine with smaller displacement, say, the 2.5L/2.2L from other PPVs vs. the 3.0L of the Mu-x? Is that good or bad? Does that mean it's 'older' technology? Pasensya na po, these are the questions bugging me in choosing from among the PPVs available. Thanks for any info or comments.

It means understressed un bigger engine with the same power kesa dun sa smaller engine. Mas tatagal kumbaga kasi nga hindi pwersado.

Thanks sir kkreuk18. For those who might want to know, 20k discount was being offered for the 3.0 VGS by Isuzu Alabang and possibly by Pasig as well (she will confirm today, as well as kung pwede freebie yung utility box with carpet--long shot, pero sana umubra).

Any comment po on engine noise between 2.5L and 3.0L? I guess ang makakasagot lang po nito ay yung nag-test drive ng 2.5L but actually bought the 3.0L (or vice versa). :-)

Concur with kkreuk18. Also consider what you want and not what you need. I say this because the 2.5's power is really ample. It will not blow you away like a 2.2 Revgt but its not wanting. I think those wanting for more than enough power should get the 3.0. It will be noisier and thirstier but not to the extent that its annoying.

I have a DPchip and recently I am not using it because I find the 2.5 better to drive relaxed. Shifting is smoother, engine is quieter, and in turn I feel safer specially with my family on board. Somehow I find the DPchip overly eager to shift and provide power.

Without the chip, I can overtake most vehicles on the road anyway should there be a slow one. Its really rare that I run side by side with a faster, more powerful vehicle. And its a bit funny if I race them for the sake of racing. I mean in an SUV? I prefer comfort and smoothness.

Having said this, the 3.0 is still a good choice being an older, reliable block. Since its an Isuzu, it will be economical too. If cost difference is below 50k, I'd say get the 3.0. Otherwise, get the 2.5.

Thanks sir Djerms for your valuable inputs. Will consider these when I make my decision. The cost difference may very well be exactly 50k (as the SA thinks she can still get a 30k fleet discount approved for the 3.0), so the comparison would be -40k for 2.5, -30k for 3.0, or 1.318M vs. 1.368M.

Will be a first-time Isuzu car owner kung sakali, coming from Mitsu and Honda. Or if you know po of the thread discussing this, kindly direct me to it. Thanks again.
