if you can get dried filter and not those oil based.. Feeling ko mas safer nya particularly sa MAF sensor.

ImperialV, yeah that I know of.. My FXT is on K&N and I am very careful on spraying oil on it. I don't want to mess my MAF sensor.. It worked naman as long as you clean the K&N filter on regular intervals and just put a very light mist of oil, otherwise the filter gets to obliterate itself based on past experiences with K&N parang simota din. By the way, even with K&N you still get dirt in the intake tube kahit snug fit. I notice mine sa FXT sa inner bottom part ng filter housing (past the filter), similar to stock filter ganon din. I take my tubes apart to clean. My inquiry is how good and clean does the hurricane filter compare, minute particles of dust can be easily burned by combustion anyhow, important lang naman wag ma foul yung MAF.
I dunno if our Diesel engine has a MAF sensor. Does it?

Pang gas ata lang ang MAF.. I am using AFE filter for my fozzie.. dried filter siya.
Mahal kasi nung dati Piper Cross kaya nag K&N ako. Ok naman K&N basta wag lang soaked sa oil. Been using it 3 years na.
Alam ko Sorento namin may Airflow sensor pagkalagpas air cleaner assy. Malamang meron din SF3.
Not really. But it depends kung mgustuhan ko features ng bagong lalabas na Ford Escape. But I do really like our SF3. Tipid talaga! Am currently on my way back to Pangasinan and am getting 6.2L/100km * 120kph. Tipid talaga compared with my previous cars!

am sad now because i think mine has a leak. its exactly where user alski88 said to look... on the third row floor. i first discovered this yesterday while vacuuming the carpet. it was moist when i touched it and upon further inspection, i saw that the padding underneath the carpet was soaked. the carpet or floor covering there is thick with padding. the seams are sealed with velcro. it s easy to check.i guess if your car is nt that exposed to rainy conditions there wouldnt be enough water to seep out through the seams. am thinking this happend because i left my car outside my garage for a week. and it kept raining i remember. am gonna have this checked as i cant figure where the water came from.
Mine s PHDM. When this was first brought up here in this forum. I immediately checked my third row floor. Hindi naman basa. But that was last august pa. Hindipa masyado umuulan. Am now thinking baka may leak talaga noon pa man. Water was just absorbed by the padding or insulation kaya hindi halata sa ibabaw. But now na nababad sa ulan, nag seep out na siya theough the seam. Bad trip to for me.
