Don't worry bro.,- hindi kayo nag-iisa.... Ganyan din ang Starex Gen3 namin...

I just bought a CVVT AT last May. Last week, I asked a Sales Rep at Hyundai Fort Bonifacion if I can have the ABS and SRS installed by them or by HARI. They said NO dahil CBU daw from Korea yung mga Speced Up version at wala silang capability mag-upgrade.

    Hi guys,

I've been following this very nice and informative thread since I also find the Tucson very appealing Plan on getting the 4x2 CRDI-SU soon.

However, the recent posts regarding problems cropping up regarding the Tucson has got me a little worried... the "squealing brakes" and the "airbag lights" problems (is there anything else I missed)

Has anyone encountered problems with the 4x2 CRDI-Spec Up?

Thanks so much in advance for your help

It's the brake pads that they are using. Am planning to use a different brand once they warranty's off.

Wala naman ba rattles ang Sportage/Tucson kapag nalulubak? Maski SF kasi prone dun eh.

I know, the vehicle is still under warranty, not the brake pads, and using "non recommended" brake pads might cause issues with the warranty. Once my warrantly coverage is over, I am going to have better brake pads used on my ride.

ser, pag pinalitan nila ung brake pads it will definitely remove the brake squeals?

If you have it replaced at the dealership's servicing shop, they would most likely install the same "recommended" noisy pads, I figure some good brand aftermarket pads would be better.

I am also thinking of getting K&N drop in airfilters.

Tucson 2.0 CRDI SU - is very practical choice. I don't really need 4 wheel drive since i use it mostly for city driving. I have not experienced any break sequels. We went to Rizal a few days ago the car was loaded with 4 adults and 2 kiddies plus cargo. Ok sya sa hill climbs and handling comparing it to my civic hands down ako
