Hi. Went to the Fort Hyundai "tent" - the showroom's still under construction - and saw the Santa Fe and the Tuscon, both CRDi. Though very nice, the Santa Fe is less of a sure buy for me because of its amenities - or lack thereof (see my comments in the Santa Fe thread).

The Tuscon CRDi AWD, on the other hand, looks to be the best bang for the buck since it has everything you need in a proper CUV - AWD, airbags, ABS, disc brakes - at a very attractive price (P1,198,000). I've arranged to test drive the Tuscon later this week (hopefully they'll have a CRDi available by then) and will post more impressions then.

we got a 2.0 cvvt also we average 8-9km/l city driving but when i drove it with almost red line every shift i only got 6km/l not bad it has alot of power but not that satisfiyd with the sounds planing to change the speakers to infinitys heheheh

hi guys, im a newbie here. kamustahin ko lang po san performance ng 4x2 crdi variant ng tucson. we're planning of buying one pero wala ganu inputs on it dito sa thread. performance in terms of the engine and its ride.thanks po

Kfronda i got back up sensor n 35k less,also tint buo yung harap,reg tucson nice car more comfortable than the crv,fuel consumption wala pa 350k pa lang milage,after break in period pa or 5k milage up saka lang puwed siguro compute.

sir bruswayne, i got my tucson already. not nearly as nice a deal as yours but not bad either considering the makati guys helped me out a lot even in selling my car so i figured i gotta hand it to them.

haven't been computing my mileage yet though. there's a million things i wanna get but im broke now. maybe in a couple of months. hahaha

thanks for the feedback. got the 2.0 CVVT tucson on the eve of milenyo. drove it home through the brunt of the storm in makati on thursday morning and was totally fearful something might hit me. hahaah it only got its first taste of sun last saturday. so far so good everything's great.
