    Share lang.

June 24 when I had my 40k kms PMS for my Santa Fe sa Erod.

Brake Pads and Belts were supposed to be replaced pero makapal pa daw ang pads and the Drive Belt is ok na ok pa daw. I actually check my belts before a long drive and I can truly see na maganda pa ang belt. Wala pang himulmol or something.

S.A. asked me kung paano daw ako mag drive kasi maganda pa daw ang preno at ang Belt samantalang yong iba daw 20k kms pa lang, palit na ng brake pad.

Sabi ko magaang ako sa preno and I observe proper warm up before I drive.
Ewan ko baka binobola lang ako non. we he he.

    Salamat sa offer sir.
Nag back read ako sa SF Club Thread na 'yon to find out what is it all about.

I can say ok na ako sa SF. All Stock except the headlights.
I want to retain it for its soft suspension pag konti lang kaming sasakay.

Pangbyahe ng bigas from the Province.

I went to Hyundai Manila Bay this afternoon and according to the SA the Hi Spec SF is no longer being offered. Can somebody verify this?

I'm disappointed since I've already made up my mind to get this variant this december.

Sir, try to talk to Sir Lyndon. He is a manager of Hyundai Manila Bay.

If not naman, you can call Hyundai E. Rodriguez to verify... Their telephone number is 413-1848 and look for Ms. Marlyn Del Castillo. Tell her that the SFCP referred you to them!

as of now ZERO ang availability ng santa fe hi spec sa outsource1, di naman
nag phase out ng unit ang HARI, pero most of the time namamatay ang ibang
variant nya dahil biglang wala nang dumadating na stock, like the accent gls,
getz crdi, i10 bare etc..., pero di nila sinasabing phased out na, parang ung
getz na 1.1l na matagal na nawala pero bumalik din bigla, so lets wait and see

Oo pre. Yon talaga complain ko sa SF. Pang-5 Seater lang. He he he.
Pag ginawa mong 7-Seater, nakow, parang eroplano na.

Knowing its weakness kaya ayaw na namin sya kargahan masyado.

Pag nag-expire Warranty Sir, baka I may consider that. Pero 2012 pa yon.

    Hi guys,

I'm new here sa forum but been reading lots of reviews very very informative. This may be OT but I'm trying to find a second hand Santa Fe 4x2 CRDI. Anyone you know that might be selling? I tried to search the Advertisement and Buy and Sell sections but wala ako makita.

Please move my message to the proper section if needed.

    Salamat po!

    Hi Guys/Gals,

Jaz wanna have your opinion sana kung anung vehicle yung mas ok if yung intended use ay yung pang harabas and occassional road trip all over luzon and papuntang Visayas and Mindanao using the nautical highway (on the Western side of the Philippines) and/or the Maharlika highway (on the Eastern side of the Philippines).

Mas ok ba yung 2010 Hyundai Sta Fe or yung Isuzu Alterra? Kelangan ba yung 4x4 model pag yung intended use ay road trip all over the country?

Napansin ko kasi na yung 2010 Hyundai Sta Fe na 4x4 is around Php80,000 more expensive than the Isuzu Alterra 4x4.

As to diesel engine and transmission, everyone knows that the 2010 Hyundai Sta Fe is more advanced than the Isuzu Alterra. Pero, is it really necessary to have the most advanced diesel engine and transmission?

Mas durable kaya yung Hyundai Sta Fe compared to Isuzu Alterra?

How about aftersales services? Which is better, Hyundai or Isuzu?

Alin yung may mas maraming dealership, Isuzu or Hyundai?

    TIA for your feedback

    Pangharabas ba kamo?
    Stay Away from Santa Fe.

Ok ang engine. Subok ko na sa Long Drive.
But it's the suspension that I have qualms.
Pag pinangharabas mo yan, sooner or later you will encounter squeaking suspension, whistling steering that requires replacement of Rack and Pinion Bearing, or leaking Shock Absorber.
Knowing ang condition ng kalsada sa Pinas, you need a Ladder Frame SUV with robust suspension.

Also, malambot suspension niya which you may find issues pag medyo loaded ka na.

Alterra can travel farther on same amount of Fuel compared to Santa Fe and Alterra has more robust suspension.

SF naman has the looks and comfort and a good and powerful engine too.
    So you decide.

Meron pa palang stock ng pre-facelift?

IMO no... The difference is small, pero the new one has huge leaps in engine performance. Although I must say there are some things I like about the older model. I like its grill better, I like the fact that the roof rack is black compared to the new one its silver. Also mas gusto ko interior design ng luma. Nice and soft touchpoints in the door panels and the wood is not as annoying...

Meron pang stock ng pre-facelifted and pinag iisipan ko nga kung yun or yung facelifted ang kukunin ko...kasi 150K difference din yun e.

i am pulling out the 300K down payment for the sorento crdi 5seaters kasi i called up the plant and indefinite talaga ang delivery...
