good decesion sir safety must come first + the confidence you will gain when driving your car its priceless!!...

O nga eh, iba talaga when you're driving na for your family. And besides, sa dami na mga barumbado sa kalye, it's good to know that your car does have added safety features.

On another note, is it possible to get the SF from Hyundai Dasma, and have it registered in Makati? Parang ang layo kasi ng Dasma when it's time to have the registration renewed na, though initial registration naman eh 3 years.

I think ABS/EBD are common to all petrol and diesel variants.

What the lo-spec does not have is the ESP. Not sure if the 2WD diesel has it, but it sure is present in the hi-spec Theta.

Regarding the registration, I requested EJ of Hyundai Dasma for an NCR registration (Las Pinas or Muntinlupa for me). Possible naman daw.

Via Daang Hari, Hyundai Dasma is not that far. Around 14 kms from Alabang Town Center and 18 kms from where I live. Been there only once. I drove gingerly at first kasi ang daming dips and bends ng Daang Hari. But going back, it only took me half the time kasi medyo familiar na ko sa route.

Kahit doon kayo sa Cavite magpa register ok lang. IMO mas maganda tingnan yung "V" na plates sa "P" ng NCR..

Sa fuel consumption hindi yan nagkakalayo, 2.2 R eVGT 197HP against 3.0 147HP ng Alterra sa laki ng engine ng Alterra baka nga mas malakas pa yan kumain ng deisel

entertainment - kung naka 5.1 ang Alterra panalo na yan
Mas spacious - mas malapad ang Santa Fe compare sa Alterra, mahaba lang ang likod ng Alterra

I guess no one cares Trip nila yung Montero Sport kasi bago eh.. Ngayon andyan na yung 2010 Santa Fe. Tingnan natin kung paano magbabago ang mga bagay-bagay.

Ang alam ko same engine. Tipid talaga ang Isuzu. Kahit yung Trooper ko mas tipid sa Tucson. 2.0L vs. 3.0L..

I think I've misunderstood the spec sheet that was previously posted since the ABS/EBD is highlighted in yellow.

Anyway, unless a better SUV will be introduced between now and december within the same price range, it will be SF hi spec na for me.

Another question for you guys, hope you don't mind, if I upgrade the A/V system with GPS, will it require a subscription for the GPS to work? Mejo directional challenge kasi ako, hehe

Hindi na sir. Once you start the engine and turned on the radio, lipat mo lang sa GPS mode. Ok na yun..
