Yeh, I agree too
but I don't worry too much, I know Hyundai is working hard to met the requirement of their client specially the after sales and besides, the problem of parts of our fellow member is due to third party. Kaya ingat lang sa un-necessary upgrade or better look for trusted tech to do the job
the sf 2.5 2wd diesel now have cloth seats and no conversation mirror
Is it better to purchase a unit in Manila than here in Cebu? How about if I want to trade-in my old car?
To Sante Fe CRDi owners,
Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying the new 2010 Santa Fe with crdi engine but I don't like to wait 2 minutes before turning off the engine. Also, our garage is partially enclosed. I don't want the exhaust fumes accumulating inside the garage. If you just turn off the engine after driving to your destination, will this damage the turbocharger? I've read in other threads that their turbochargers were damage because they did not cool down the turbocharger before turning off the engine.
Maybe I would be better off getting the Gas engine which is much cheaper and does not need the 2 minute cool down wait.
Your opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.![]()
What I do is when you are like a few minutes to your destination wag ka na humarurot. Make sure the turbo no longer activates. I also hate waiting so as a substitute when I am near my destination I just drive slowly... Afterwards pinapatay ko na din yung engine as soon as I park the car. 2 years and nothing bad has happen...
This only applies if your coming from long drive say out of town. If your living MM, I'm sure you already stuck in traffic or some sort of slow stop and go, this can be consider as turbo cool down.
I agree with tidus as I also did the same, I drive slow at 1500RPM (AFAIK SF turbo activates *1700RPM and above) for about a minute then you can just turn off your engine in your destination
had the chance to drive the new santa fe with r engine, grabe lakas ng engine, very responsive sya, lots of torque, wala din lag, pag floor mo ng accelerator pedal talaga ibabaon ka nya sa seat mo, magaan siya manakbo compared to the previous santa fe which is powerful pero ramdam mo ung bigat ng body, lakas nung r engine...
you have to try it for yourselves to see what i mean

Hello Everyone,
We are planning to purchase a Hyundai in Manila and bring it to Cebu. Can anyone recommend a good Hyundai Dealer and Sales Agent that I can get a quotation from.
Thanx
Hi guys,
I got my sf today from Q ave and drove it home to Angeles City. My first drive experience was really awesome. Really made the right choice. Though medyo matagtag pero baka sobra ang pressure ng tire will check it tomorrow. First time ko mag car ng diesel kaya sabi ko baka manibago ako sa performance lalo na kapag nasa nlex na ako but the engine is really powerful pala. Compare to my previous car which is crv 08 it is really no match. Post the pic tomorrow. Ang ganda pala ng brown metallic especially pag under the sun. It turned darker and look elegant. And medyo mas pansinin kasi new color. The other missing feature was the auto door lock when reaching a specific speed. Wala pala yon. Yong reverse camera nakakatuwa kasi first time ko din to have a car with that feature. And yong touch screen na-amaze din mga kids. Dont know if I will follow the break-in rule of not exceeding the 100kph. Any advise guys?
Guys, just want to ask lang, ganito ba ang mukha ng dashboard ng sta fe pag gabi???

Wow ganda ng dashboard ng 2010 SF. The 2006-2009 really pales in comparison...
