BTW, i got my vanilla white SF from hyundai CDO last august and this is my first car in my entire life.
Likewise Sir, my first bought car out of my own pocket, sweet!

Nang pina-back job ko ung Side Mirror with Turn Led Lamps sa Maspro, si Benjie ang gumawa. nakita ko kung paano kadali tanggalin ung salaming using an ATM Card lang.

Wala pa atang 30seconds natanggal na ung salaming don sa right side.

Happy naman ako kasi ung alarm na pinakabit ko, na-se-sense nya pag ina-unfold ung side mirrors. he he he. so ayon Alarm to the Max si SF.

Finally nag pa gas (er diesel) na ako today since malapit na sa half tank yung gauge ko. So total KM since I bought it is 316km (that is already net of the first 13km which it already had when we bought it). Total liters pumped until automatic is 36.1801. So KM/L= 8.7341, and this 100% city driving from Quezon City to Makati and a few trips to malls... I am very satisifed with this result given the size of the car, our Accord can only manage 5-6km/L

Swerte natin for now na mga diesel engine cars ah! Nasa 33.59 peso mark na ang per liter! (Tama ba? - hehehehe ) Saw this price in Shell Greenhills right after the Caltex Station going towards La Salle Greenhills.

Nagpa qoute ako sa Hyundai Pampanga. 10k+ daw. Bukod sa standard PMS procedure, inclusive daw doon yung,
    1. palit air filter, 2. A/C cleaning, 3. engine detail at 4. X1R.
Tinanong ko kung pwedeng huwag isali yung items 2, 3, 4...pwede raw.
I'm hoping papatak na lang ng 5k to 6k+.

The Santa FE IMO is the best ambassador for the Hyundai brand. The Starex might be more popular but the Santa Fe has the refinement, and the world-class technology to tell the local car market that Hyundai is ready to take on the popular brands like Toyota and Honda.

    good day santa tsikoteers!

after a heavy research on the internet, we decided and bought a hyundai santa fe last week (superior red, 4x2) and been happily driving it since..

however, i am wondering about some issues:

    1. there is an unusual sound located in the driver seat dashboard when i am driving.. kind of like a plastic or paper strip that is against the wind making a swishing sound.. not sure what this is.. anyone encountered this?

    2. the spoiler they installed is not like the one posted here by jpg.. yeah its a bonus from the deal we got from hyundai, and they say it costs 10k but i think it is not mobis. is the shark spoiler costs as much (the rear braking light and rear wiper washer are "as is" (not replaced), our spoiler has a vacant space for that on the top center).

    3. moist is entering inside the headlights (though we flagged this to hyundai and they said they will replace them).. is this a common problem?

    4. the power windows on the driver can auto down but not auto up? is there a setting for this to auto up?

    5. are hankook tires better than kumho? they say they are the same.. is that true?

    6. is it true that i should clean the santa fe with water only cause its fairly new?

    7. lastly, what are your suggested (necessary) things that i should buy to maintain our santa fe as stunning as it is? (3M matting? chamois? etc?)

thank you so much and looking forward of enjoying our ride with you!

Yung moist sa headlights dati may nag post na dati nyan si Innova_Boy ata yun. I think you can have it replaced.

And by the way congratulations on your new Santa Fe.

Let me guess? The guy was grabbing in the roof rack when he is attempting to clean the roof then it cracked? Am I right?
