The alloys I am looking at has a rim size of 7 1/2 inches while the tire has a max permissible of 7 inches. Will the tires fit the wheel?
If I may suggest, go for 185/60 instead. They are the closest in terms of overall diameter to the stock tyres. 195/60 are a little too big. I checked these using a tyre size calculator as I too plan to change the stock rims in the future.

Thanks for the reply, bro. Actually, I already replaced the stock Kumho 175/70's which wore down after 40,000. I am currently using a 185/70/14 since I wanted a higher ground clearance. I referred to a tire sizing chart & the 175/14 diameter is 602 mm, the 185/70 is 616mm & the 195/60/15 is 615 mm, still well within the 3% allowable, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. My only concern now are the rim width of the tires & wheels & the offset. Tires are 7J & wheels are 7.5. I still have to check the offset. I hope hindi sasayad.

I've gone through several new cars already and i make sure my first oil change is at 1,000km. my reason for this is that i wanted to get rid of all the gunk and metal shavings that inevitably gets shaved-off from a tight new engine. I usually make use of mineral (dino) oil during my 1st 1,000km.

then all my diesels engines get oil changes every 5,000 km thereafter using fully synthetic oils (sometimes semi-synthetic if naubusan ang local supplier ko ng fully synth).

Sorry to hear that bro. Kung ako yan, di ako makakatulog. Kung hindi naman nag chip off yung paint, this might help: try to blend in the scratch using a cleaner wax (do not use a scratch remover or a rubbing compound) like Microtex Nano Fil, then seal in the wax with Microtex Nano Sil. These come in sachets, which I guess will be enough, & is the cheapest you will find. You can also use 3M cleaner wax or any cleaner wax. Di yan mawawala on the first try, but in time, will heal by itself.

You still need to level the scratches with fine sand paper say 1500 grit & finish with polishing compound bago mo e nano fil & nano sil for better result.

how does it compare to driving a manual tranny car. mas feeling "automatic" ba sya (parang may hesitation pag gusto mo umarangkada) or mas "manual" ang response nya (ala-YES MASTER! pick a gear and watch it go)?

If OT just let me know.

Does the hatch and sedan have the same diesel engine? Ergo same fuel consumption ba sila? Comparatively mas lower priced kasi si sedan and was wondering what the major difference are in the features aside from one is a hatch and the other a sedan?
