Bro, ganito sabi sakin ng mechanic sa Hyundai Las Pinas, kung saan ako nagpapa service. Kung sakali raw na magpapalit ka ng wheels (alloy), itago mo yung stock metal rims & tires. Sa off chance na magka problema yung suspension mo, ibalik mo pansamantala yung stock wheels & tires bago mo ipa service. Marami raw silang nakikitang naka wheel upgrade pero under warranty naman at yung mechanics di naman nagsusumbong.

Update lang, tinawagan uli ako ng hyundai las pinas crm dept, pasok daw sa range yung 195/60r15 so hindi daw mavvoid yung warranty. Kelangan lang daw sa kanila ipakabit yung new tires. Bakit kaya? Pero mas gusto ko yung suggestion mo bro bloowolf. Ganun na lang gagawin ko

agree ako dito bro. dont ever give a single reason, however small, for them to decline your warranty claims. use your new alloy rims and wheels, then pag may problema, balik na lang to stock wheels bago dalhin sa stealership.

Mga sir need your help. Im planning on getting a used Accent hatch A/T. Are there any differences between 2013 and 2014 models? I also noticed some have foglamps/body colored door handles tapos yung iba black handles/no fogs/steel rims lang. TIA

If I may, as far as I know, there is no difference between the 2013 & 2014 model except for the logos on the hatch area. In the 2013 model, it says Hyundai on the left & Accent on the right. In the 2014 model, it says Accent on the left & CRDI on the right. The 2013 & 2014 models sport body colored door handles, which is your clue if the model is a 2013/14. Also, the 2013/14 sports all discs & have a center console & steering wheel audio controller. The 2015 models sport drum rear brakes. The 2013/14 AT models all come with 16" alloys & foglamps while the MTs all have 14" steel rims with no foglamps. All 2015 MT & AT basic models have black door handles with 14" steels. This is as far as my knowledge of the hatch goes. Good luck.

Nice info sir. Pansin ko lang, bakit parang nag downgrade ng specs from 2013/2014 compared to 2015.

Even the 2016 model eh naka-steel rims na lang din. Also front disc-rear drum na lang din ata ang brakes ng 2016 model. Wala din steering wheel audio controls. Parang mas sulit yun 2013/2014 models. Same engine pa din naman.

Thank you sir! That was really helpful. Does the accent diesel have any common defects? Like yung civic FD dati defective yung engine support. I want to know kasi para pag nagtingin ako ng unit alam ko kung ano yung mga ichcheck/papakinggang tunog. Thanks again!

Like what bro airolynx said, check for oil leak in the air filter box. Other problems are steering column noise. It also should not be spewing smoke at idle or when running.

It's a good buy. Yung unit ko, a 2014 model, is now running 76k kms but still feels new. Iba na rin gawa ng Hyundai ngayon, unlike those of yesteryears.

If I do find traces of oil sa air box, ano solution dun? OCC? Sa steering column noise, what exactly is wrong with it? Sorry daming tanong. I just want to be sure pag nagtingin ako ng unit. TIA!

It's a second hand unit, so I'd most likely look for another car I can get that is still fresh.

Pagkaalam ko, they won't unless there is a problem like excessive fumes, which they will clean for free. f you request for it, cleaning the egr, along with the whole exhaust system, including the cat con, will cost you P4,500 at least. They cleaned mine when I had a problem at 15k kms.

1K PMS is free labor. Just pay for oil and oil filter. Use fully synthetic or at least semi-synthetic oil.

Sa Total, ang magandang diesel nila yung Excellium. Yung regular diesel nila last year mabula. ewan ko lang ngayon. Ayoko kasi ng mabulang diesel

It's the same diesel, just with different additives. Bubbles could be just because of the dispenser pumping too quickly.

Nah, top quality diesel isn't foamy.
