Okay that is a different problem altogether then. Yung dinescribe ko is ayaw lang mag start. Hehe. Manual ba sayo or matic?

Matic sir. So far hindi pa naman nauulit. Tinry ko na uli ihataw sa skyway kanina, oks naman. Pero banggitin ko sa CASA sa next PMS ko

Hindi po maso-solve ng O-Sulee 'yan. Either use bigger tires (i.e. from 14 to 16), or learn to do the S-maneuver when crossing your car through humps. This is coming from an Accent owner that already has O-Sulee installed on all fours.. akala ko kasi malulutas ng spring cushion yung issue ko with rubbing sa rear wheels pag naka 17, palit goma pa rin pala talaga kailangan mangyari.

Mas madalas yan pag loaded ang sasakyan on stock 14" wheels. Currently may 2 sets ako na gulong, 17" na 215x45 at 14" na 185x65 (I seriously wish common ang 70 series na tires for this size, unfortunately hindi so had to make do with 65).. walang kasayad-sayad sa 17", pero ang dalas sumayad ng pang-ilalim ko on 14", though no choice ako pag long drive yun talaga gamit ko dahil mas matipid sa gas at iwas bengkong as compared sa 17".

I went to casa today to inquire about 25k top up. Interestingly the SA told me na hindi na raw pwede top up ngayon per memo daw mula sa planta. Kailangan daw change oil na fully synthetic every 5k basta crdi unit. Meron na ba naka ranas sa inyo neto? Hindi na daw pwede semi synthetic. I find that a load of bull.

Okay update lang dito guys. I went ahead and sent a complaint to HARI using their Voice of the Customer and I was surprised mabilis yung action nila :cheer2:

This is their reply to my complaint:

"Please be informed that we have already brought the matter to the attention of your servicing dealer for their immediate and appropriate action. We have also requested their Top Management to investigate the matter and come up with corrective measures to preclude similar incidents.



We also wish to inform you that the recommended oil drain interval is 5,000 kms or three months, whichever comes first. When fully synthetic HGMO is used, the drain interval may be extended to 10,000 kilometers, with top up at 5,000 kilometers with oil filter change. "


That clears it.

Nung stock tires pa naka kabit (175/70/14), laging sumasayad akop sa malaking humps lalo na kapag maraming kargada. Yung 175/70/14 tires may diameter na 602mm. Pinalitan ko ng 185/70/14 na may diameter na 616mm. may difference sila nna 14mm na significant enough para hindi na sumayad sa malalaking humps. although paminsan-minsan sumasayad pag mabilis masyado takbo ko sa humps, naminimize na rin.

Ilang kms na tinakbo ng accent nyo? Baka fuel filter yan. Every 20k kms or so, kailangan replace yun.

Mga bossing, tanong ko lang kung may naka-experience na sa inyo na mamatayan ng engine while driving? Nagddrive kasi ako kanina siguro more than 1 hour na nung biglang namatay yung engine. Tinry ko i-restart while nasa "ON" yung position yung key several times pero ayaw mag-start. Inalis ko yung key tapos tinry ko uli magstart, dun nagstart sya uli. Naidrive ko sya from BGC to Libis ng hindi na nag-off yung engine, so mga 40 mins yun.

Kaka-full tank ko lang sa Caltex kagabi malapit sa amin, since Euro 4 na sila. matagal na nung huling pakarga ko sa Caltex (8 months ago yata) so iniisip ko sa fuel quality kaya na nakarga? First time lang nangyari ito. Madalas ko ipakarga Seaoil xceed diesel, Shell V power diesel, at petron turbo diesel.

Water lang yung nakikita kong tumutulo sa ilalim, so i think galing sa aircon yun. Normal temp naman (5 bars). Chineck ko yung engine oil at transmission oil, mukhang nasa right level naman.

So iniisip ko kung madumi yung nakarga na fuel sakin or marumi na yung fuel filter? wala naman ako napansin na black smoke na nag-eemit sa car.

21kms na tinatakbo. Kakatapos lang ng 20k PMS nung Dec eh sa Hyundai Las Pinas, so i assume pinalitan nila yun kasi nakalagay sa breakdown ng binayaran ko. Hindi naman na sya naulit. Malakas pa din ang hatak at wala naman black smoke kapag hinahataw ko

the oil filter cartridge of my non-hyundai car and of most other engines i know, might be removed by twisting off with the hand.
for tighter ones, an oil filter removal tool is available. "one size fits all".
i have seen mechanics punch the filter cannister thru using a screwdriver, and twist it off using the skewered 'driver.

Di ko nakita actual ng 1.6L U2 crdi oil filter ng accent. Might be the same size to that of Caren's 1.7L U2 crdi engine which is 27 mm socket wrench.

Top-up lang po sana gagawin ko and change oil filter kaya DIY na lang sana.

Hindi ko na ipapasok sa casa/non-casa, mapapamahal lang ako eh madali lang naman yun.

Wala po kasi ako socket wrench kaya bibili pa sana ako nung correct size na pwede magamit, try ko nga po yung 27mm.

The oil filter of the accent is different. It is encased in hard plastic that has a bolt like head at the top. We only replace the cartridge inside.
