Zic RV is a very good motor oil. Just be aware it is a semi-synthetic motor oil so you know what you are buying & know the proper oil change interval recommended.

Got this from red_one's post in engine oil thread. Back read ka dun. You will learn a lot. Zic RV is mislabeled as fully synthetic in some counties. From those who have used it, it is an excellent oil, but as an end user, it is always good to be aware of what we buy. Personally, my preference is really fully synthetic but, if I were to use this oil, I'd change my oil before 10k.

I can only speak for the manual variant. Yes matipid po siya. I get 18km/liter average when driving 80-100kmh with moderate to heavy traffic sa edsa. My daily commute is a 100km roundtrip. I compute my consumption using full tank method - I don't rely on the on board computer.

The worst was one time ni idle ko ng 1 hour ang car while waiting for my daughter dahil sobrang init sa labas, tapos may may hataw na takbo pa (sprints of 140-150kmh) - and it yielded 17.56km/liter.

Di ko alam ang actual figures for the automatic variant.

Hindi ko alam kasi ang performance ng mobilio, pero parang iba ata sila ng category. Yung hatch kasi kilala na sa topic. A full tank (43 lits) takes you 700+ kms. Performance wise, may power sya to overtake even at 6th gear at ramdam mo push ng turbo when accelerating. Matulin but don't expect it to be like a race car. Power fades after a certain rpm. A sporty family car na di ka bibitinin sa akyatan ng matatarik na lugar, kayang kaya mag overtake, zippy sa city drives. Di say kasing laki ng mobilio.

I don't want to down play the Mobilio as it is a new player in the market. It seats 7 - that is something the Accent Hatch can never do. But in terms of Economy and Performance? The Hatch is leaps and bounds ahead of the mobilio. It all depends kung kailangan mo yung extra seats ng mobilio. The mobilio is a Honda - so you can't go wrong with it in terms of engine durability. But you should also consider the Accent is now a very famous fleet car (taxi and company). I haven't heard of any issues with the 1.6 CRDI.

Naku.. kapag turbocharged engine pala every 5k ang oil change interval. Akala ko ok ang 10k oil change interval kapag fully synthetic. Need ko na pala ipa-change oil yung sakin. Almost 9k na kasi sa odo ko. Meron ba sa inyo every 10k ang change oil? So far ba wala problem?

Lahat ata ng auto, pag mineral oil gamit, every 5k. Pero pag fully synthetic every 10k. Sa tsikot natin na turbo diesel, at 5k series, palit oil filter at top up oil lang. Pag 10k series, full oil change.

depende sa owner ano gusto. top up at 5k km & full change oil at 10k km or change oil full every 5k with full synthetic oil.all boils down magkano pera guzto mo gastuhin. sa crdi cars namin total change oil every 5k with zic rv fully synthetic. 1.5k php price lang 6ltr container

fully synthetic ang 10w30 zic rv. 1500 php sa reseller. same oil use by kia casa for crdi engine.

PMS 1k and 5k around P 3.5k and 5k at 10k ranges around P5k sakin sa HQA. 250kms tuwing byahe sa manila plus lakwatsa at trafic via full tank method on board computer is 20 - 25kms / L depende sa dadaanan kung national road or expressway. Around 750 kms round trip may natira pa na 2-3bars sa fuel guage.
