Hyundai ACCENT Hatch CRDI 1.6

Mga sir, question lang, especially dun sa mga kakakuha lang ng hatch nila in the past few months, ang FC nyo lagi eh higher than 10km/L, right?

Kumuha kasi ako ng 2015 Hatch AT nung December lang, tapos ang mileage ko ever since, nasa 9 to 10 km/L lang, in light city non-rush hour traffic. Ang computation ko is pakarga ng full tank up to automatic-stop lang, tapos measure ilan nakarga versus ilan yung tinakbo sa odometer. Lagi ganun pakarga ko, same gas Unioil station, almost the same pump pa nga lagi.

The only time lumampas ako ng 10 km/L, nung inakyat namin ng Baguio last month, pero considering na puro highway lang yun, 13km/L lang nakuha ko.

Medyo worried na ko sa unit ko, kasi nasa 2000km pa lang to, natapos ko na pagawa yung 1k PMS before.

Actually may ibang problem pa nga to na di ko sure kung related, nangyari pa lang twice. The first time, nung 100km pa lang sa odo, tinakbo ko ng 80kph, tapos pagbitaw ko sa accelerator, biglang nag-stall. Yung second time nya, nangyari right after nung 1k PMS ko, after ko pumila sa sobrang habang traffic sa Quezon Ave, pagdating ko sa Philcoa papasok sa UP Campus, pag-apak ko sa gas, nag-stall.

Both instances, nagha-hard start yung makita a few times before tumuloy. Nung na-check sa casa to, wala daw nakitang problems sa diagnostics, pero may mga precautionary cleaning na ginawa na daw, mostly sa gas tank. Di pa naman nauulit yung stall problem as of now.

Ano tingin nyo mga sir, related kaya yung stalling saka poor FC ko? Sobrang sama ba ng 9km/L considering na light city traffic lang lagi yun?

Many thanks sa reply sir. Accent attracts me because of FC nya at ang mga freebies lalo na kung talagang ibibigay ang GPS, but i doubt kasi thru Bank. Honestly, mas nagandahan ako sa 2013 model nya coz naka ABS na sya at na ka wheel alloy pa unlike this new version 2015 with almost the same price . I read all the pages sa thread na ito and it helps me a lot, kaya malaking inputs sa akin.

Good choice ang Accent HB sir. I'm very much satisfied with the performance and fuel economy. Even without the ABS and 4 wheel disc brake setup, sulit parin siya for me. Basta ingat lang po sa pag mamaneho we should be fine.

Hi guys! "Potential" owner of the accent HB. I have a couple of questions that I need to clear:

- I'm eyeing the MT variant. The dealer (Cebu) apparently still have the prev gen which has the steering wheel controls and etc. and is offering it to me for the same price as the current 1.6E MT. Which one should I get?
- I have a Montero that I EGR-blanked. Should this be also done to this car considering it is a diesel?
- is growl audio any good? What do you all recommend?

Hi! Get the previous gen hatch (abs, 4 discs, center console....) Just make sure it is not a test drive unit.
The engine of the Hyundai is far & away more sophisticated than the Montero & has no smoky fumes so no need to blank. Just make sure oil is API Ci-4.

Also, I'm concerned that they literally "forgot" about this unit and has been in storage (open) for ~2 years. The battery was dead when I inspected it at their bodega/open lot parking. And they're selling it to me for the current price 1.6E MT. So I'm not sure if this is a good deal considering all these...

Ahhh yes, it has the center armrest console. It has disk brakes sa back wheels, so yeah it looks like the prev gen. Well, they are giving me an 85k discount for either models...

Check the paint condition too. Kung 2013 model yan tapos sitting in the sun for 2 years with no wax. Baka nag deteriorate ng konti yung topcoat niya.

Since it was time for me to change my tires, I decided to change it from the stock 175/70R14 to 185/70R14. It improved the ride height a bit. At least now, di na ako sumasayad sa matataas na humps.:-)

update ko lang yung aking 2 year kalampag problem since day 1, 2 years open case ito sa hyundai quezon ave. last month my hatch was brought again there for 1 week after a complaint for the nth time to HARI ( every pms ko lagi ko pina follow yung kalampag ), i was requesting for the last 2 years to replace the suspension. akala ko this time since nagpadala na sila ng hari specialist ay ma so solve na yung problem but they just tightened again the bolts. nabubugbog na yung kotse kaka kalas kabit nila and what's worst after the 1 week na nasa casa ay lalong lumala yung kalampag and my engine already sounds different...ang lakas na ng tunog ng makina na parang jeepney. i have a hunch na baka umaandar yung kotse the whole time na ginagawa ito at nag papa aircon nung mekaniko. no replacement was done after several request na. sayang yung pa pms ko sa kanila for warranty purposes. walang kwenta hari and casa. di nila ma resolve yung problema. titipirin ka lang sa remedyo. next step ko dti na. hopefully ma resolve na yung problema. malas ko, i bought a brand new car pero everytime na i drive ko para akong bumili ng 10 yr. old kalampaging sasakyan. i think i got a lemon from them

btw, tumatagal ng 2 years kasi sawa na ako ibalik balik yung sasakyan sa casa para remedyuhan lang. as i said nabubugbog lang yung kotse sa kaka kalas kabit nila and ang sama ng amoy ng kotse after mangaling sa kanila...amoy pawis. kaya ayaw ni mrs. ibalik na lang kasi re tightening lang nangyayari every time.

i don't know if casa ang barat or hari mag replace ng parts. i have hunches sa narining with the hari specialist and the service manager ng casa sa usapan nila. akala nung service manager wala na ako dun.

Regarding warranty complaints, you can bring it to other Hyundai dealers. Di naman kailangan kung swan mo binili

Pinalitan nila yung front stabilizer link. Hyundai Pasong Tamo nga pala ako nag-claim ng warranty. Kailangan lang sila tawagan every week for updates, kasi di sila tumatawag. Hehe... During the warranty claim, nasa kanila ang Service Passport. Kailangan daw kasi nila makita records ng PMS ng sasakyan kaya hinawakan muna nila.
