In the video, pag DRL mode, mas maliwanag.

Is it safe to leave it as is?

Afaik new cars with original suspension really have that mild rattle. Yung city ko had it even when it was new. My accent has it. This is because kailangan meron kaunting play pag nalulubak ka so as not to destroy the joints from the shock. As long as it does not cause the steering to veer off the road or cause any other driveability issues, you should be fine.

I read from vios thread and there is an owner there who has the same complaint. But why other vehicles don't have it? And where did you get that information regarding the shocks that is causing the rattling sound?

Yes some vehicles does have it and some vehicles don't. I've driven a few new vehicles and noticed that: Adventure- it had rattles, Urvan doesn't, Fortuner doesn't, the new Jazz has some rattle.

Oh no I didn't mean the shocks as is shock absorbers. I meant shock or jolt from the pothole. Interesting I could not find any articles that say some rattle in the suspension when the car is new is normal. I just concluded that based on some of the cars I've driven.

And if you check OEM suspension parts (i.e ball joints, tie rod ends, etc), the joint feels loose actually as compared to replacement ones na sobrang tigas nung joint. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Driving over potholes, unpaved roads & other uneven surfaces will naturally make the car rattle. It will also cause premature failure of suspension parts & bushings. Most low end cars are not built as sturdily as their premium counterparts for obvious reasons. Assess the rattling over normal, paved roads. Drive overmhumps, wavy roads instead.

My bad. Sorry for the "shocks" part, hehehe. I see, that explains it. Thanks airolynx and bloowolf for your replies.

For me, di ko kaya mag-DIY. Magrerequire daw kasi ng re-wiring, and you need to know the wiring diagram of the headlight first. Tsaka yung version ng hatch daw natin, hindi dual intensity yung LED Position Lights. Meaning, kung ano brightness ng LED kapag nag-on ka ng park lights, same din yung brightness kapag nag-re-wire ka to function as DRL. Well, that's what i've been told. May nabasa ako sa audi forum yata, pwede nila i-adjust yung brightness ng LED at pwede nila i-on or off yung DRL function thru computer software and a special cable.

Hi, i just acquired a 2015 hyundai diesel hatchback (1.6). I noticed there is no crdi insignia. Is this normal? Also, the car salesman said i should warm up and cool down for 5 minutes each, but i read here that warm up is about 3 mins while cool down is 1-3 mins. Please clarify. Thanks.

Do i still need to preheat for ten seconds? Car salesman didn't mention this.

Don' t listen to the salesman. Read the manual. No pre- heating. When you see the pre- heat warning light go off, you can start the car. Warm up for 10-20 secs & cool down for a minute. Read the manual, especially break in process on the first few pages

First of all, congratulations and welcome! The crdi emblem should be in the liftgate unless they decided to remove it for the 2015 iteration. Share ka naman pics sir

Pre heat? Tama si bloowolf 10 to 20 seconds is enough. Cool down naman tama din 1 minute lang. Too long ang 5 minutes. You'll end up na iinit ulit yung turbo if you do that.
