we've rented a tci 12 seater before. as with the 9-10 seater you can not put anything under the seat thicker than 4-1/2 inches. yun nga plastic box ng hydraulic jack di pa magkasya sa ilalim ng seats eh. also the 12 seater does not offer much luggage space at the back - about 12 inches clearance at the top of the back seat and 16 inches at the bottom. if you move the 4th row seat forward 1 click (6 inches) kids na lang makasakay sa 4th row, and that is with their feet up. eto sukatan - hindi kasya ang isang kaing na mangga so we dumped the basket and put the mangoes on the floor at pagulong-gulong yung mangoes, nalamog nga yung iba e.

this was the time my old grx was in the shop and we went to manaoag to offer thanks na buhay ang pamilya ko after typhoon ondoy. i lost everything - house, 3 vehicles plus almost all appliances and furnitures so we had to rent a van.

*yebo -- follow-up question lang: cost aside (around 50k difference), what would be more flexible and practical in your opinion: get 10seater and buy extra bench or pair of bucket seats for future install as may be needed, or get a 12-seater and do tip-up fold (dunno exactly what that means). or also, for 12-seater - remove the locking nuts of last row bench to accommodate more luggage. salamat.

Bro.,- just to update you on the road condition going to Manaoag:

Hataw mode (in excess of 100KPH),- best area in between San Manuel and Rosales....

1. About 4Km na kinayod ang kalye (inner lane) sa may Paniqui(?)... Outer lanes,- okay.
2. About 200meters na unpaved road sa Gerona (malalim ang unang parte, kaya kawawa ang mababa na sasakyan)
3. Ginagawang maliit na bridge sa may Villasis

going back to Manila

4. From just after San Fernando,- maraming segments ng NLEX (southbound) ang ginagawa ang isang lane.... Traffic!!!

From Urdaneta (McArthur Hiway),- turn left on the second traffic light (tama si bro.yebo)- you will see Norkis Yamaha on the other side of the street, and this road should take you directly to Manaoag Church/Cathedral... Sarado ang Plaza kahapon dahil may event yata,- so turn right just beside the Church and drive a couple of corners (left and then left again) and you will see the entrance to the free parking area to your left....

Edit: Distance of Manaoag from our place in LPC,- about 250Km....

^yung kinayod na kalye sa paniqui ok lang naman daanan, drove over that portion at 120kph no sweat. dami kasi mabagal dun sa paved na lanes, tricycles and jeeps. i was looking at the right side view mirror if my wheels were spitting out gravel and would have posed a danger to the slow movers on the right, wala naman ako nakita na tumatalsik so ok lang na mabilis takbo sa portion na kinayod. layuan mo lang ang tingin para maka-brake or iwas sa potholes, there were a few.

*14myXuv, 9 seater yung sa akin e. when we are more than 9 nilalagyan ko lang ng foam na sofa bed in front of the 3rd row, masaya pa mga kids nakakahiga sila sa floor if they want to. kung gusto mo captain's seats na lang ilagay mo. cheap option is to buy an office chair then have a fame made, i-bolt mo nalang sa floor rails when needed, then madaling tangalin. next project ko nga ito actually, instead of buying a car seat i'll buy 2 office chairs and have the frame fabricated. once in a blue moon lang naman na more than 9 sakay ng GS ko.

yep. malaki ang space underneath. plus 2st and 3rd row of GL grandia ay may space sa gitna. so addtional space para sa gamit

yung GS nyo CRDI ba? (sorry kung medyo confused na ako sa mga details). Napunta kami sa HARIdealer kahapon at walang TCI display kasi. pero sabi nila. TCI seats are not sliding. kaya paano kaya makalagay ng sofa bed between 2nd and 3rd row.

ini-lustrate din yung tip-up fold feature nung 3rd row bench (in short fold lang ang back support). so pwede din patungan ng luggages kung sakali.

Iyon nga lang, dahil fixed bench ang third row, kapag itinodo mong i-slide paurong ang second row,- wala nang leg room sa third row.....
