Bro.,- I went to the website you are pointing to above:

Is that the image you want to post?

You point on the picture and do a right-click,- then choose, "Copy Image URL"

Then, go to tsikot and in the reply section, do another right click and choose "Paste"

The site pointing to the image is there, then put after...

The BOSS Onjo wheels were what I had been pining for ever since I saw that website. Ampogi, tapos tama pa ang offset.

They're going to be coming from Malaysia though, and are 19s, so that would mean besides being uncommon, the tires will not have a cheaper alternative. At least not for a while unlike 18s. I've seen a GS with 18" Rota Grids that look like the BOSS Onjo's, but the offset leaves the Rotas sticking out too much, IMO.

Kumusta TCI M/T sa city driving in terms of overtaking? hirap ba or kaya mag accelerate quickly if needed?

What's the top speed on highway like SCTEX?

    (assuming 8 passengers)

I did that before posting my question (and read similar threads too). Can't find answer specific to that question; that TCI is NOT underpowered is assuring to know. Apologies if I missed them.

Further clarifcation on your old post. I also have revo 1.8GAS. Is TCI as responsive in quick overtakes (my reference here is my crosswind AT that's challenged in overtakes)? I have driven my revo at 135-140kph before. So if TCI can outdo this at its top end, even better for me ;)

quick overtakes: running at 20 and need to overtake; running at 60 or faster and needing to overtake shouldn't be an issue for TCI

Iyon nga ang masakit bro.,- I was running my TCi A/T in excess of 140KPH behind a Forester and a Previa late last year (and I swear that there is still room for more oohhmmmmpppppp out there), when I got tagged by a radar gun...

Going up to Baguio?.... A drive in the park....

Crosswind?... busina lang po sa mga owners out there,- but no comparo....

MacArthur Hiway bro.?

The rest of the stay,- nakatingin ka sa wala o nagkakamot ng *(&*.....

Biyenan?... peborit mo namang biyenan yata iyan, bro...... Okay na rin....

Salamat. Insightful. Kahit na Xwin owner din ako ;). No offense taken -- TRUTH hurts sometimes. Kelangan ko lang talaga ma confirm na kaya mag overtake ang TCI kasi pag layo ng byahe like Ilocos, malaking time savings kung makakaovertake sa two-way roads. Overtaking na walang kaba kapag may kasalubong LOL

Hehehe! My friend had a similar speeding story pero to the South naman, sa may SLEX or ACTEX. He got gunned for 130 kph, so he had to troop back to Batangas for the seminar and exam. To his horror, the exam was in Tagalog and my friend was born and raised in Cebu, pero Manila based since college. Google translate became his best friend. Hehe!

I think the GS is stable on panic braking. Haven't felt it twitch doing some evasive manuevers and braking. That heft and width did wonders for stability vs the Gen 3. I think that would've twitched in a heartbeat, owing to the fact that the engine is CRDi but the brakes were still (supposedly) meant for the Gen 2 TDIC engine.

I don't think the GS TCi is underpowered. Sure it pales in comparison with the Bread Van Racing Club stalwart CRDi VGT model, but it stacks up with the current HiAce line, which I haven't heard any major complaints on speed. Well, except of course when SG compared his SG drive vs a GS. Ayun, goodbye bunot!
