the secret is to not cut any wires by using proper harness AND do not dispose off the old HU. in case may warranty claim ka then install back the old oem hu para di nila masabi na may upgrades.

Recommended ba mag third party 2 din radio upgrade ? the price of 2 din with camera sa CASA is expensive , but if third party radio instalation yung warranty ng electrical will be void as per casa

^ Tama si sir yebo, best use a harness. Halos less than 2k lang, wala kang issplice na wire, less electrical problems in the future din.

i had my gs for 5-1/2 years and did not experience any serious problem. the only problem encountered was the hard opening or sticking of the sliding doors, and a simple remedy has been found in this forum by adding a rubber bumper on top of the old one.

yung mga nagsasabi dito na problematic ang grand starex mga salesman ng toyota mga yan kaya huwag mo pinagpapaniwalaan.

Pareho tayo ng opinyon bro... Ang aming 7years+ old na GS (EGR-blanked TCI),- satisfied ako sa performance ... Pareho lang ng maintenance/PMS issues ng aming ibang mga sasakyan from other brands....

Isipin ninyo na lamang ang ngiti ng mga naka-VGT dito.....

About 2 weeks and php32.5k later, abs module replaced and problem solved!
Thanks to the tipster on SL Auto in Libis!
Now, Im thinking if letting go or keeping. Sarap pa rin idrive...Hmmm..

Just want to share, for the past few days i could hear a faint “groaning” sound coming from the driver side of our GS.

At first i thought there was something loose inside the dash and it was banging against the insides of the dash. Later on i noticed this sound comes only when i step on the gas pedal.

After arriving home, inspected the gas pedal and found the stock matting from casa was partially impeding the movement of the pedal, i think thereby causing the groaning sound. So i moved the matting to a position that will not interfere the free movement of the pedal. And voila! Groaning sound gone.

And, DBW pala ang GS. Wala lang [emoji16]

Got mine from Pitstop. Sir RJ from Pitstop was very accomodating to my inquiries, viber, texts. Though at first, medyo maiilang ka sa kanya... (backread the thread on pitstop). He even made it sure that i will get the unit on a holiday, Nov 30, kahit close sila (Pitstop was close last nov 30). Pms kay pitstop. Standout pms kay Pitstop ata...


P.S. try mo na lang sabihin referral ka ni doc, (thru tsikot forum), baka sakali bigyan ka extra discount. White dual sunroof.
