Probably right sir but Seiring says there are also other part numbers for the ABS module depending on your VIN. IIRC 3-4 part numbers. All expensive unfortunately.

10000% correct, casa will never admit that they replaced a completely working part. They will always find another faulty part.

This reminds me of the lawyer who sued an independent service place for replacing a working part. Guy won a sizable amount compared to what he lost. The place now refuses to serve lawyers. 😂

No way that theyll refund you the 56k abs module if hindi pa rin maayos. By elimination na lang kasi sila

Update:
Just came from hyundai sucat.
Service advisor Galem said that they will need to inspect the brake system properly but since they have few mechanics today, they might not be sble to diagnose within the day. Estimated cost for this is Php1900. I scheduled an appointment for this on Thursday.

However, Galem said that 70-80% it's probably the ABS module.

He quoted 60k for the module plus 6-7k on labor and other materials for a total of about 66k. If I bring my own parts, they charge 15% for corkage.

I am now torn between having it inspected still at p1.9k but eventually be told to replace the module or going ahead with the replacement at hyundai las pinas at a cheaper price around 56k.

Hello Fellow GS Owners,

Finally bit the bullet this year and sold the Explorer. Hindi ko lang mapalitan ang username na...oh well.

Bought the 2018 MY Grand Starex from local casa. Honestly, ang daming nabawas from the previous models. No more leather seats. HIndi captain seats ang 2nd row. Walang auto dimming mirror. Wala ring entertainment system. Basta ang daming kulang versus the grey market units.

Anyway, mayroon ba dito may alam kung paano i-activate ang auto speed sensing lock ng GS? Sa HVX ng parents ko mayroon and I heard sa programming lang daw.

Just came from SL Auto in Libis.
Their recommendation based on scan is replacement of ABS module.
Estimate cost: 30k for the module 2k shipping 2k labor 500 brake fluid . Total is 34500. With 6 months warranty.

hari unit yung ex-gs ko sir. kakabit lang yung obd2 nila, turn On yung feature and that's it. ganyan din yung sa sta fe and sorento, programming lang.

At least mas mura. Next step siguro is ask goodgear or fronte how much ang abs module nila at sila na magpalit na rin
