    • Makati to Kapitolyo, Pasig (heavy traffic 6:30 pm)

sagibs, mali setting mo ng aircon mo.. since "climate control" ang mga hyundai's, better set your aircon max to the blue side and manually turn it off from time to time.. setting it at any clicks on the blue side will not turn of your compressor unlike to those cars equipped with manual thermostat like toyota vios.. in your confirguration, the compressor is on and will never turn off during the drive..

Hi yapoy86! Sorry, newbie pa lang ako sa auto... what do you mean when you say "climate control in hyndai's"? How do I turn it off manually? Thanks again...

Hi fellow i10neans, pa share naman current KM & FC ninyo for the i10 1.2AT. Just got my 1k PMS sa Hyundai ERod *1002php ordinary oil. Actually, I just break in my i10 at NLEX & SCTEX almost always maintaining 120 to 130kph on the entire stretch hoping to improve my FC.

Mine is 1230KM *6to7 km/L would just like to know your current consumption if indeed i'll be expecting any improvement after the 1k PMS and break-in.

    salamat po.

Baba ng mga FC figures ah sa mga nakalap ko dito sa i10 thread... I guess I am still a firm believer of power to weight ratio. Even a 1.5L car seems more fuel efficient than a 1.1L car if paired with a heavier body...

may blue zone yan which is cold and red zone which is hot.. pag nilagay mo sa gitna yung temp dial mag mix yung equal amount of cold air (from compressor) and hot air (from radiator) so kung i set mo yung dial 2 clicks from the middle, hinahaluan ng konting hot air lumalabas sa vents mo to control the climate inside your vehicle!! unlike sa mga naka thermostat like toyota vios, yung temperature is controlled by turning off the compressor when the set temperature is reached. sa mga naka blue/red temp control mixing of hot air ang method to control the cabin temp.. so better set it to max and manually turn off the A/C when the cabin temp is ok with you..

btw, why dont you try shifting above 2k rpm (accelerate gradually until past 2k rpm then shift) kase if you are shifting too low on rpm, the engine will just struggle making it to consume more fuel

Your right mine is a 1.6 liter engine and has a heavy body and swap with a 2,0 liter engine and the consumption is almost the same as the 1.6 liter engine but the difference faster acceleration and more power .

Safe color silver, you can't go wrong with silver sa kahit anong car, Pero kung choice ko maganda sa akin yung champagne gold.

Hey everyone, newbie here. Just bought my champagne gold 1.2 A/T i10 last may 31. We got it for 153k DP (30%) inclusive of free mortgage, LTO reg and compre insurance and freebies tint, floor mats and seat cover, 9.3k/mo for 60mos at Hyundai Pampanga. Okay na po bang deal yun? They had a promo na 95k all in (free everything I mentioned above) with 11.3k/mo x 60 mos but BPI wouldn't allow me to get that deal and would only approve me if I pay 30% DP and since I can afford it, I striked that deal. It's 12 days old now and the mileage is at 700++, my FC is 8-9km/li pure city driving (bumper to bumper with occasional bursts) and 10 km/li highway driving (NLEX, SCTEX at speeds of 120 km/h x 15 mins when we did our "break-in". I'm using Flying V Unleaded (because it only cost 34Php/li) and I also noticed that I get lower FC if I use Shell Unleaded (only 7.5km/li pure city driving ). Will continue monitoring FC (since a lot of people here are wondering about the FC of A/T 1.2 i10s).

Mababa talaga fuel mileage ng i10, everywhere I go that's always the complain. My Yarisky 1.5L (300cc higher than the i10) gets 13km/L city driving with bumper to bumper consistently... Which again proves the importance of power-to-weight ratio!

17K ODO later, I decided to measure my FC. Route: Lagro-Antipolo (town proper)-Lagro-Antipolo (town proper)-Lagro, through Marikina, so its a stop and go short cut instead of Katipunan ave-Marcos HW. I took Sumulong HW.In short lagari yung destinations ko.
    My i10, 1.1 A/T did 12.5 k/l or
    11.99L * P41.70/L (P.500 uni-oil unleaded) ran 150 km trip.
Driving style: mostly light headed and calm.
So, its power to weight ratio, fuel brand, driving and traffic conditions that tell your FC.

Im not good in finance, but I got my 1.1 A/T for only 18K all in DP with the same freebies, 13,122K for 60 months. Kinda stiff right? Had no choice back then and at fault at not looking up in forums, but I was just impulsively excited about the car. I did a little math, you'll pay 94++K more than my deal, but, yours is a 1.2L Kappa A/T. Nonetheless, you've got a nice little car right there, I guarantee. Enjoy your ride, be safe!
    BTW, Flying V unleaded, * P.34/L?

    salamat po.
That's disappointingly low! When my 1.1 AT is at that mileage, it was running at 10-11 km/l. It improved after break in, now its ranging at 11-13.

Hi guys, I just recently bought a set of Concept One 15x6.5 "inspire" mags + a set of Sunny tires last sunday for my I10 from DKC Tires in Cubao. After installing the first wheel in front, the DKC pit crew instructed me to fully turn the steering wheel to the left, and then to the right while they check the clearance of the wheel. After the initial testing process, they gave it a go. I'm happy about the new look of the car. Excited, I gave it a run along Katipunan avenue about 80 kmh. The ride is smooth but a bit noisy with a little "hzzzzzzzing" sound when going between 60 - 80 kmh. Annoyed, I called my friend who is a car enthusiast to consult my case. His first question was, "Anong goma ang binili mo and magkano?" I told him that I got a set of Sunny SN3800 series tires for PHP 8,000. He told me that it is normal especially for cheap tires. Has anyone of you guys used this brand of tire before? Thanks.

Mali techillajoe, P39/L pala hehe. Yep, I know. Pero tumaas yata ng piso yung gas this week so P40/L na sya. And it's the cheapest unleaded gasoline that I saw anywhere here in Clark, Pampanga. 18k all in? wow, sobrang baba naman yan pero di ko carry yung monthly mo, marami pa akong pagkakagastusan. Can't blame you for taking up the offer though, imagine, for as low as that, you can have your own car!
