Pero I still have to check it again. Parang third party po kasi yung pinuntahan ko, I mean, they sell used cars na hatak sa mga bangko. Kaya siguro mataas yong presyo nila.

If ever po, mga how much kaya dapat kong tawaran? Iniisip ko hanggang 280-300? or lower? Thanks again!

hatak ng bank yung car? kaya pala mahal, they try to recover yung cost plus yung interest na di nabayaran since hinatak. Usually if you try to haggle, go for 50 percent of the price of brand new. Siguro sa 250k to 280k ok na iyan. Just make sure na nakalagay doon sa service booklet na kumpleto yung services niya. For example, yung mileage ng car ay 28,000km, dapat may tatak ng casa yung 1k, 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k at 25k pms. Atleast added peace of mind na casa maintained yung car.
pero kung bank repossessed yung car, di ko lang sure kung magbibigay sila ng tawad. di kasi ako familiar doon sa process nila.

When was the last time it was tuned up? I experienced a big drop dati nung nagkamali sa valve clearances but it was on a 1.1 Getz. From 11-12km/liter city it dropped to 7 kasi sobrang higpit ng clearances. Managed to correct myself it and it is back to normal.

I have an average of 9-10 km/l on city driving, around 12-14 km/l on long drive. I'm usually using Shell's fuel save unleaded. Sometimes petron's unleaded as well.

Try changing your Oil to Fully Synthetic(Less Friction). Previously, 9-10km/L ako. Now it went higher, yung 25 liters na Gas beyond 300kms napupuntahan.

Just had my 15k PMS at Hyundai Pasong Tamo. Umabot ng 3,155php. Top-up ng 1L fully synthetic oil, replacement ng oil filter, battery check, clean breaks and usual checks... Ang nagpamahal yung mga misc. na gamit at mga flushing-flushing! Pasaway... Sand paper nga nila 50php!

Hi, it's been a while since I last posted on this thread. Thought I'd give some updates regarding my 2009 1.2 M/T GLS which is almost four years old and with 40,000+ km on the odometer:

City driving fuel consumption: average is around 10km/l. On really bad traffic I get around 9. When the roads clear up I sometimes get up to 11+, but that's pretty rare.

Highway driving: I drove this to Clark, Subic, Pangasinan, and Tagaytay a number of times. Typically get 16-17 km/l. I tend to overtake a lot, but I usually cruise at 100 km/h. On occasion I gun it at up to 130-140 km/h.

Fuel: Nowadays I use Shell FuelSave 91 octane unleaded (because of credit card rebates) but I'm not choosy. I use any unleaded fuel available.

    Major problems: No mechanical problems.

Warranty issues: Had to replace my brakelight switch twice. The first time after a year (2010), then again after three years (2013). Had to replace my airbag clock spring as well, as it triggered the airbag warning light.

Nonwarranty issues: Had a crack appear on my dashboard front fascia (the part surrounding the radio). Had the fascia replaced at around 1K. Also replaced the front and rear wiper blades.

Complaints: Small cargo space, but that's to be expected. Everything else is perfectly adequate. I mean, I could use a little more of everything (space, performance, fuel economy, safety features like a passenger airbag and ABS), but as it is the package is perfectly adequate and acceptable.

Nitpicking: When cold the brakes and clutch are sticky (braking is abrupt, clutch release is juddery) but these disappear after a kilometer or two. A-pillar blocks front quarter visibility. Engine (1.2 Kappa) is coarse sounding at high revs. Wish the rear wiper had an INT setting. Tire noise can be annoying.

Raves: Suprisingly comfortable, good airconditioning, good forward visibility, easy to park and maneuver, good torque, nippy in day to day traffic, fog lights pretty useful in bad weather. Stable at highway speeds. Good performance from 1.2 engine.

Modifications: Virtually nothing. A shorter aftermarket antenna (the factory long antenna sometimes whips the roof on humps and potholes) and leather seat covers from MG Square.

Future plans: As this car is just about paid up, I may look into getting something bigger and with more power. Intend to keep this for at least a few more years though, as a second/alternate car.

    That's about it.
