*chuckie_bhoi,
*ichibahn,
Nice ride. Though Honda describes it as taffeta white, it's quite similar to the Civic Type R's Honda Championship White.
Truth be told, I was choosing between taffeta white and crystal black pearl when I ordered my unit. I decided to go with black because it was the only available shade with a pearl finish.
So there.
*ichibhan, roadrage, pocholo: nice rides...
haven't gotten a picture of mine yet i think everyone has seen a silverstone already :D
Interesting incident I had a couple of nights ago. While parked outside, I was about to close the mirrors when I noticed the right side was pushed forward, as in palabas yung mirror side. I've already pushed the fold button so hindi ko na nabawi.
The left sidemirror was in a folded position already pero naka-open pa yung right. Kala ko sira na pero the motor continued to fold it into the "proper" folded position. No gear-grinding sound, no stressed motor sounds. More or less continuous yung closing motion. I tried to open the mirrors again, ok na. Parang walang nangyari :D
That's probably one of the scenarios na iniiwasan ko, pero it looks like Honda did their research and found a way not to break the folding mechanism.
Anything similar happened to anyone?
Folks, matanong ko lang... I'd like to know if there is a local distributor of the dual-exhaust found on Type-R Civics? I just like the clean lines from the rear :D Magkano kaya?
Hi All,
I'm reading this thread since the beginning because im planning to get an everyday car, with good FC and maporma both interior and exterior. I travel around 70Km a day, bacoor-makati-binondo vice versa, and my beloved revo vx200 is a gas guzzler (6km/L). Buti na lang bumababa na ang gasoline.
I know 2009 Jazz is what i want, but im still trying to convice myself if i have to buy the baby, considering the current economic situation
. Everybody need savings as backup. Also, medyo nagulo ang decision making ko ng lumabas na sa market and City 2009. But for sure, either City or Jazz will cut my fuel consumption... Haay ang gulo ko he he he.
Anyway, i went to Honda Manila (ung sa dulo ng UN), together with my wife. I intentionally brought her sa Honda para makita din nya ung Jazz, since sya ang cashier. An AE assist us..showing us the two cars...there i found out that im destined to get Jazz because im having a problem when entering the City. kailangan ko pang yumuko kapag sasakay sa City dahil tumatama ang ulo sa frame ng door (sorry hindi ko alam ang tawag sa part ng car na un.) Sa Jazz ay hindi ako yuyuko, tamang tama lang. Btw, i stand 5'10". My wife's vote went to Jazz..dahil sa dami ng cup holder
I also have a chance to hear the sound system of city...it's pretty good...but not with Jazz, wala daw kc baterry ung car.
To cut the long story short, need to go to Honda Dasma Cavite and compare with Honda Mla if i can get more freebies he he he. Cash buyer sana kung matutuloy and planning to get the 1.5 silver.
Thanks
Drove over to Conventry Square this afternoon and personally saw their work. Met Phillip and the stitching is consistent and double stitched at the seams. I went for the Black German leather, design following the original upholstery + an imprint of the Honda's "H" (about 2.5" sq.) at the center backrest for another hundred extra. Excited to get this already
Headed back south over to Global City to get my tires nitro'ed. I passed by the old road leading to the S&R area and was waiting for the incoming to stop when a rock was kicked off by a jeepney and hit my roof, nearly hit my windshield:seeth:. I didn't get off to check but rushed to get out of that road. I pulled over to Bridgestone and the place was not too busy pero it was already 5:30pm, sarado na daw sabi nung guard (they closed at 5pm). Luckily, the owner -- Mr. Tagle -- was there and told the guard to bring me in  32 in front and 30 at the back, cost me 400 for everything. I took the time to check my roof, fearing a big dent or scratch, but lo and behold wala naman :D.
I would agree with the handling is definitely better and the usual bumps are certainly negligible. Free na daw if the pressure drops and in case I get into an emergency and had to refill the tires with ordinary air, 50 na lang daw the next time I come back.
Highy recommend getting your nitro-fix at Bridgestone, Global City. If you see Mr. Tagle around, do approach and extend my thanks again. Please let him know you got the referral from the owner of the Silverstone Metallic he kindly accommodated earlier today
As promised here are some day shots of my seat cover from Coventry Square.

newbie here, sorry haven't introduced myself. Proud proud and lucky lucky owner of a cerulean blue 1.3 S manual GE. I love this car!

i go to autoline for my mods pero so far ilaw pa lang napapalitan ko ehang mahal kasi eh hehe. Last week at autoline, tuesday i think, i saw a white GE on TEINs with bronze 17" Volk TE37(?) tapos naka muffler tapos yung tail lights he had it changed to LED. Gwapo! And the kicker.. pag silip ko sa loob yung HU nya, is a 2 DIN monitor. Swabe ang fit and finish, clean looking. Alex (of autoline) told me he had those in stock pero i didn't bother asking for the price because i'm saving all my loving and money for a new set of wheels.

Nice drop! Are those LED tail lights? Clean looking jazzes are what it's all about![]()
