3 months na yung GE ko and no regrets. I just wish they offered a 1.5 MT. I suggest get the Jazz. Parang masyadong manipis ang Avanza. Tsaka mataas ang re-sale value... IMO.
No, not Play-doh po. Something like this (click on the image to go to their product page):
After washing the car, spray on the quick detailer then "rub" the clay bar on the surface, back and forth. See the more detailed instructions on the package. You’ve heard about clay bars—professional detailers, body men and your car buddies all talk about how they work. Now use the clay bar everybody wants. Created to remove the particulate debris and contaminants that washing and polishing can’t, our exclusive Clay Bar System will remove embedded grains of metal, tree sap, airborne environmental deposits and paint overspray. Better yet, our clay bar isn’t hazardous to your paint—it’s just firm enough to pick up the bad stuff, without being too aggressive. Use Mothers® Clay Bar to get rid of paint fouling grime and pave the way for complete waxing.
HTH.

Ganyan talaga sa Pinas, mababa talaga ang quality assurance... Lately napapansin ko to sa Honda...
Anybody here wants a quick shift mod for their GE MT?

Good day, I'm an owner of 6 month old 2009 Jazz 1.3 A/T. My problem is regarding fuel economy. I only get a miserable 7-8 km/l city driving in my Jazz. Is this normal? It is normal for a 2.0 accord maybe, but definitely not with a 1.3 Jazz. Anyone having this same kind of problem? What are your fuel consumption with this same model? Please let me know.
And it's not because of my driving style. I have followed every way to minimize fuel consumption in my driving style. I'm a very 'matipid' driver.
I believe my engine has problems in it. I brought it to Honda dealer to fix the problem, but they just ignore it. Maybe they can't fix it or they won't.
Is there any way that I can fix this problem? Please advice. Please help.
I measured my fuel consumption by full tank, drive until almost empty, and full tank again. The total kilometers run divided by total liters filled. I have done this countless times already with my previous car, a 97 corolla xl, which consistently gave me around 11-12 km/l.
Do you drive in mostly city rush hour traffic? Are your trips short (< 7 kms or less)? Use of E10 will also affect your consumption rate.
I get about 340km in a single full tank of 30L from my 3 week old GE MT. That's mixed highway and city driving. I consider myself a light footed driver. I usually shift on or before 3000 rps and glide through traffic as much as I can.
I've seen better FC by others maybe i'm still adjusting to my new GE. There's a forum all about FC that would probably more helpful. Just do some back reading. http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...=48258&page=22
After 3 long weeks of lurking in to this forum, I finally got my own CB 1.3 GE kahapon. Yahoo! Honestly dami kong nakukuhang tips dito. Kudos to all the GE owners who share what they know.
Newbie question: Normal bang naka-ilaw ung "check engine" indicator hanggang i-start ung kotse? Ang pagkaka-alam ko kase sa ibang car namamatay yun then you can go ahead and start the car. TIA.
Normal lang 'to, depending on the manufacturer.
Our civic's check engine light only dies down when you actually start the engine.
I think on toyotas, the CEL will go off even if you don't start the engine.
What's important is, it doesn't remain on when you turn on your engine![]()

Oo patay naman na siya after mong i-start yung engine. Thanks!

You're right about the Toyota. I was pertaining to a Fortuner and Innova when I said na namamatay ung CEL before pa i-start. Thanks for the quick response fellow GE owners!
boss congrats..
regarding sa engine indicator mawawala yan matagal nga lang...what i do is wait until it disappear cause my aunts galant nagloloko ang idling pagstart ng nakailaw pa. just be on the safer course. again congrats
1.3 ba unit mo boss? i'm getting 380km in single full tank for a week yan until fuel indicator light up. 1.5 a/t unit ko.. maganda na din fc mo...pero kaya pang tumaas yan...
and then congrats to us GE owners we have one of the latest unit on the road with best fc we could make.
