i've read the trick and tried it though meron pa rin smell, i'll try switching it to higher thermostat ( pero di ba dagdag sa lakas ng gas consumption yun?)

hmmm... paano ung pag-todo ng thermo? as in coldest setting?
Elementary Science says fungus thrives in moist conditions. Bka parang nababasa lang sila ulet, covering them during use (no smell?). try ko mag-research sa internet kung ano pa meron...

Madam, baka pde mo tanong kay bf kung paano nilagay yung baking soda. Ndi natin alam baka namuo na sa vents yung mga fungus, kelangan balikan.

Some offered to spray Lysol through the air intake at the base of the windshield, pero check the air ducts din daw. Baka may barado or naipon na tubig...

Mam, pagkakaintindi ko po ay naaamoy mo yung foul smelling odor pag naka off yung compressor? Ganon din po sakin pero pag naka-on na yung compressor nawawala sya. ganon din daw po sa lumang jazz ng office mate ko.

naku ganyan din sa jazz ko pag on mo nung fan amoy gas, parang kakagaling mo lng sa gas station nagpagas tapos nakulong ung amoy sa loob na car mo ganun na ganun ang amoy... wala kayang effect sa health natin to? :confused:

baka fungus po yan, try po ninyo yung suggestion ni xxpmred

try din ninyo i-todo thermostat parati, then observe po ninyo kung meron pa rin smell.. eto po kasi gawa ko, no more foul smell sa aircon after leaving the building car park ... dati meron smell nung mababa thermostat setting... pero sa revo ito.. weird nga eh pero it solved my problem hehe....

thanks, sir! try ko nga yan. napansin ko nga na nawawala naman siya pag tinataasan ko thermostat. sa ngayon meron pa rin yung amoy sa unang buga pagbukas ng aircon. sana mawala na. thanks sa mga tips!

ay tinanong ko nga yan kay bf. kaso di daw niya nakita dahil pinasok sa loob yung car at naghintay na lang siya sa labas.

naaamoy ko siya pag-on ng fan (my thermostat is normally set at the lowest level), after it has been parked. parang sa unang 'on' ko ng aircon tapos pag malakas yung fan, mas malakas yung amoy. after awhile na matagal nang nakabukas yung aircon, nawawala na rin siya although somehow may onting smell ka pa rin na maaamoy when you smell closely from the vent.

This problem is not exclusive to the Jazz. I've had the same experience with our CR-V.

Hmmm... nissan has powerful and robust A/C systems (though not familiar with their vent system). Wouldn't be surprised kung Nissan has the same problem. Some car forums show the same issues...

hi.. nope i don't think standard practice yun. it was 8am in the morning when my bf brought it in and he was not in the mood to check kasi inaantok pa siya that time kaya naupo lang siya sa waiting area. couldn't blame him.. hehe.. sensya na!

Kita ko kahapon un .. ganda ng mugen bodykits. Yung isa naka kuha na ng frame sa HU nya.

I just came from Coventry Square, I finally had the guts to leather(ette) Frosty up.By Friday, naka leather na si Frosty . Sana maganda kalabasan at fit.

And BTW, 09 Jazz owner din yung may ari, ganda nung seat cover nya.
