    Hi guys and gals,

Its been 5 months since I got my jazz and curios lang ako sa FC nya. Initially, I get 11 kms/li but now Im going down to as low as 9.7.

Strictly Edsa driving ako and alwasy 15 litres of caltex silver ang lagay ko so pretty much constant ang factors. How about you?

What Jazz variant do you own? How do you measure your FC?

hmmm, i think i see the same here. I used to drive manual and i can't say i have a lead foot. I have a 1.5 and just rely on the digital read-out, though i have verified this using the manual method and they are fairly accurate.

Minsan pansin ko, pagpataas parang hirap, though i couldn't tell if i'm just too cautious hindi ko pinupwersa (even on S mode), though minsan i mash it when i need power. mas makakasama ba yun kung masyado tayong maingat sa makina?

same trend.... i used to have a 12-15km/L, depende rin pero yan na yung first 3mos ko. pero now, nasa 9- 11 na lang ako.... dahil im not eco-driving na rin and nde nga normal driving din. nakakaaddict kasi idrive eh, so naeenganyo ako hingan ng hingan.

like this Sunday, i went to clark and reached as high as 175kmh(meron pa eh, nasa 5th gear, 3k rpm pa lang) but then there were some slower cars ahead of me na so kailangan na bitawan. pero nakakagulat din, siguro kaya nya hanggang 200, kasi wala pa sa power band nga nasa 175kmh na, what more kung maghit na ng 4k rpm, pero malamang kailangan pa ng mga 2-4km para maabot yung rev limiter. i should have capture it with a pix, kaso nde ko na naisip nun, bale kung me next time, ill have my companions shoot the pix for me.

o nga pala, naka 100pages na pala tong thread astig!

I have a 1.5 that's 38 days old and also used to driving a manual. So far I'm averaging 8.5km/l (based on the digital readout) with about 95% city driving. Odometer reads 188km and trip meter at 135km. I obviously don't use the Jazz a lot. At this rate I'll probably have the first 1k check-up late June or early July!

I'll post FC using the manual method in about a week or so when I refuel. I'm using Petron's E10 on the Jazz. No complaints so far.

I also got the HCPI survey on February 10 when I got home from work but was able to answer and send it via fax that evening. Then the HCPI staff called me up the following day and gave me the reference code for claiming the motor oil for the next PMS. Also, I told them about the delayed mail delivery of the survey and requested to extend the deadline.

Btw, it's been four months since I got my GE unit and my FC has improved. Ngunit bahagya lang - dati kasi nakakaabot lang ako ng mga 9, ngayon pumapatak na ako ng mga 10 pataas, gamit ay regular unleaded ng Shell. Purely city driving - home to office and back, and relatively short trips to the malls and church. I guess I'm more mindful of keeping my revs to 2,000 and speeds of around 80 kph.

But it's all good for me since I can only do around 5-6 (city driving) with my other ride, an Outie V6, which I drive more enthusiastically.

1.5 variant. I measure my FC manually. I only fill up at the same gas station with 15 litres each time.

Matagal na ako nagmemeasure ng FC even with my older cars kasi an increase in FC could tell you if something is wrong with your car.

My odo reads 4k already, and I get an average fuel consumption of 12-14 km/l. Purely city driving. I travel 44kms a day from our house to my office in ortigas and back. I never drive beyond 70kph (due to traffic) in EDSA and I only make Frosty sip Shell Unleaded, nothing else.

So far, the long trips were in: Calamba, Laguna (twice), Canlubang, Laguna (4 times), Tagaytay (twice) and Antipolo (once). On all these trips, I averaged 14-16 kms/l.

I am very happy with my fuel consumption, considering that my jazz has an automatic transmission, still I go a long way with every drop of fuel I put into it.

Share ko lang about my FC:
    Petron Unleaded Regular

    1. City Driving - 11 to 12 km/l
    2. Highway - 14 to 16 km/l

I usually look at the rpm reading while driving and making sure that i change gear before it hit the 2000 rpm and downshifting without breaking when i see the rpm hit before 1000rpm.

When i went to Binan,Laguna-Los Banos- Tagaytay- Los Banos- Binan,Laguna, this weekend i got a FC of 19.2km/li

    BTW Mine is 1.3 MT
