1. according to honda, na-break-in na yung engine pero without the body. so to be safe, break-in mo na lang.

2. i follow the recommended tire pressure located at the door of the front driver seat. 32 in front, 30 at the back.

3. the user manual says that there's nothing to worry about the cold temp icon. pwede mo na paandarin agad. normal lang daw na mag-light up yun if your jazz is coming from a cold start. delikado lang daw if you've been driving for long tapos biglang mag-light up yung cold temp icon.


updates lang with my jazz. napadala ko na sa big bert's and i enrolled the jazz sa optiguard program nila. highly recommended to para looking like new lagi yung jazz nyo

last week i wen to sta. rosa. before going back to manila, i reset the FC meter. tapos nag fuel economy challenge ako mag-isa hehe. mabagal nga lang ako sa SLEX running an average of 60km/h at the 5th gear (around 1500rpm). by the time i got to EDSA, i averaged 22km/L

unfortunately sobrang traffic sa edsa nung time na yun. by the time i got to QC, 18 km/L na lang.

4,950 petot, ginamit ko ung 5k na reservation fee. honda caloocan casa sir. kung pa under coat kayo check nyo rin kung ayos pagkaka undercoat sa inyo. accurate kaya sir ung fuel comsumption meter? i tried my best to get at least 15km/l pero di ko magawa considering 1.3 ung engine ko, around 2k lang rpm ko, gamit ko v power. does it have to do with the fuel i use? wala e 10 kc dto sa bulacan.

bro, baka naman lagi kang stop and go traffic. kung nasa first - third gear ka lagi, kahit 2000rpm ka lang, mahihirapan ka talaga maka 15km/L.

kung cvt parin sana ito, bibili talaga ako. 60kph 1500rpm pala yan manual pa. in comparison to my 1.5L city, i can cruise around 1200rpm at 80kph ^^

i wonder why honda is thinking backwards hehe. sayang talaga. sana may review ng CVT version. JDM nalang merong CVT eh. the rest 5 speed

i got my black 1.3 jazz a week ago. kanina binalik ko sa casa pina ulit ko undercoat nya kasi may areas na di nalagyan. pinatint ko narin kanina sa banawe using 3m film, it cost me 4,6oo petot. Bukas pag nalinis ko sya ill post some picture. ang tint nya medium black sa wind shield, front passengers at super black sa rear passenger at sa likod. gabi na me naka uwi kaya bukas ko palang din mabistahan ng husto.
kaingit naman ang iba nakaka 17-18km/l ang fc. me my best Fc is 13 even in expressway.

congrats sir! balita ko sa hondakal ka? ano po loc nyo? taga caloocan lang ako pero sa global ako kumuha...

pano nyo pala nacheck yung undercoat? ung black lang ba un?

same po tayo ng concern sir about the FC... so far 15 km/li ang highest ko (1.3 M/T)... using petron e10... mejo nabababaan ako compared sa mga pinopost ng iba dito..

sa iba po, binebase nio ung FC dun sa meter? if not, how do you do it?

mga sirs, pano nio po pala binreak-in jazzes nyo? kasi naka more than 1000km nako.. pero ndi ko pa nbbreak-in.. basta po ba ibyahe ng malayo break-in na un? pwede ko pa bang gawin yun kahit naka 1000kms nako? thanks!

jazzst fill up ur tank to full.. then reset ur trip meter.. then after ilang bars pde mu na compute.. pa full tank ka ult then dvide the total km sa total liters na kinarga... pero alam ko alam nyo na un.. haha may masabi lang..

about sa break in.. i dunno sa raider150 ko and sa innova puro hardbreakins e.. ung tipong paglabas palang ng casa e hinarurot ko na kagad.. don't make constant speed vary ur speed.. and tngin ko gnda nman ng kinalabasan.. motoman's way..

nagkadent nga ako kahapon, sa ayala ave corner buendia... may narinig na lang akong "tok!" kala ko may tumamang bato lang sa ilalim... pagdating kong parking lot... kita ko may dent na half size ng 25 cents sa running board.. buti na lang dent lang at wlang gasgas... at sa lower part ng oto (kaya ndi pansin).. saka ko na papaayos to... pag *knock on wood* dumami to... hehe

oo nga ano po bang mga gamit nio na panglinis ng car? ung makakaiwas sa hairlines?

sir, 1.5 matic po yung jazz ko. regarding sa 1500rpm at 60kph, baka naka-4th gear ako nun. di ko kasi sure since naka drive mode ako. i only assumed it.

kanina i was at SLEX and i was driving between 80-90kph. around 1900rpm, and the FC bar graph showed that my instantaneous FC was 40 (or more) km/L. im not sure how the old city's FC compares with the new jazz's FC. anyway, im very satisfied with the FC. basta light lang talaga tapak sa gas and iwasan ang sudden braking.

it wouldn't be fair to compare the new jazz and old city since magkaiba yung engine nila. im sure marami ring advancements from the old engine to the new engine.

regarding the CVT, dalawa yung naiisip kong reasons. First, pwedeng dahil sa CVT issues encountered by the old jazz and city owners. which brings me to the next reason - they had to improve the old CVT issue significantly para hindi na maulit yung dating problem. having a CVT would further jack up the price of the jazz. some people find 797,000 for the 1.5 model high already. having the CVT would drive up the price even higher.

sorry to hear about your jazz. ito cleaning schedule ko for the jazz:

- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: i wash my car. I use microfiber wash mitt and big bert's car shampoo. Start with upper portion first (from roof up to windows only) kasi mas marumi yung lower part. after shampooing, i rinse the upper part then i dry it. first i use a california jelly blade, then a microfiber towel afterwards. then i rinse the wash mitt carefully para matanggal yung naipon na dirt. then i repeat the process for the lower part of the car. every saturday, i apply tire black para makintab yung tires.

- in between car washes, i clean my jazz using california car duster. basta dapat tuyo yung car and light lang yung paggamit mo sa ccd. maganda yung ccd kasi hindi ma-s-scratch yung car.

- every other weekend, i wax using plain carnauba wax.

- quarterly, i plan to bring the jazz to big bert's for paint protection.

hehehe, gusto ko talaga i-spoil yung jazz ko.
