The paint protection (optiguard) cost me 4500 pesos. it includes 4 sessions - new car paint protection for the first 3 quarters and and exterior detailing session for the last quarter. you can also avail of the new car paint protection separately. each new car paint protection session would cost 1000, while the exterior detailing session costs 2000.

red carpet yung shampoo, i got it from big berts. tapos yung wash mitt and towel, Micro something yung brand. i forgot. basta check nyo na lang sa Ace or True Value, yun yung pinaka-sikat na brand hehe.

break in ko old school not going more than 100kph, no hard accelaration pero after reading the link provided parang ok subukan.

Also, with the stories here that it's hard to maintain their black honda jazz got me thinking twice of getting the silver stone metallic instead.. but i like the black colored jazz

I'm still waiting for my black jazz 1.3 mt ryt now..but still i can't decide on my tint...guys, ok kaya sa black jazz ung standard na 3M (FX) o mas ok kung black chrome? Light tint na for sure ung sa windshield ko pero i'm also not sure kng medium or dark ung tints na ipalalagay ko sa sides at rear..i'm also havin door visors..kaya di ko pa talaga sure kng what type and shade ng tints ung babagay sa overall appearance ng car...wats ur opinion guys?

sir chomz.. black chrome is the best in terms of heat reduction and looks. look at the second to the darkest film. then medium sa harap.
spoiler lang ok na. wait for the mugen type door visor ok daw sa wind resistance.

regarding the CVT, dalawa yung naiisip kong reasons. First, pwedeng dahil sa CVT issues encountered by the old jazz and city owners. which brings me to the next reason - they had to improve the old CVT issue significantly para hindi na maulit yung dating problem. having a CVT would further jack up the price of the jazz. some people find 797,000 for the 1.5 model high already. having the CVT would drive up the price even higher.

may nakausap ako sa phil autoshow... ask ko dn kc bkt tnanggal cvt sa jazz na bago.. ang sb nung honda guy, e hndi daw ata narrepair ang cvt tranny d2 sa pinas?? kya once na macira e nid to replace D whole tranny.. i think 300k+ daw sb nia... so maybe un 1 sa mga reasons why they removed the cvt..

wat oil ba ang lagay ng casa sa engine ng jazz? 10-40w ba? sabi dun dapat 10-40w for break in, if we will follow the instructions.

cno susubuk nitong method na to? very nice naman ung mga instructions, very tempting din.
on my opinion, db dapat naman i maximize ung mga new cars and push it to its almost limit to know kung ok ung unit. (hope u get what i mean).

ako suggestion ko sa tint... hmmm.. nkakita kasi ako ng black na civic, naka superblack sa sides then medium black sa winshield... angas... hehe solargard gamit nya.. un nga lang feeling ko mejo hirap sa driver's visibility...

havent seen black chrome... pero kung parang magic to ng 3m (ung may mirror effect).. no no ako jan... kasi may reflections daw pag nasa loob ka ng car (dashboard for example)...

kung susundan yung guide sa first 1k km need mo na ng change oil, recommended naman ng casa sa 10k yung 1st change oil. pero mukhang ok yung sinasabing hard break in tapos change oil sa 1k para yung mga metal debris/residue sa break in period ma flush out na.

yes. all the time na sya nakalagay dun. 4 pcs lang un. may special socket siyang kasama as like as key ang purpose nya.

i have wheel lock nut sa sentra namin, kaso di naman sya pwede sa honda, magkaiba cla ng tread. one safety accessories din to, ung barkada ko ninakawan ng 2 gulong stock pa un. eh pano kung nakamags ka. hirap na db?

car duster b bro? not made of feather, i suggest not to use feather duster to your jazz.
medyo mahal ccd, microtex car duster is the cheapest alternative, i must say for 450 petot ok naman. works its purpose

sorry to hear about your jazz. ito cleaning schedule ko for the jazz:

- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: i wash my car. I use microfiber wash mitt and big bert's car shampoo. Start with upper portion first (from roof up to windows only) kasi mas marumi yung lower part. after shampooing, i rinse the upper part then i dry it. first i use a california jelly blade, then a microfiber towel afterwards. then i rinse the wash mitt carefully para matanggal yung naipon na dirt. then i repeat the process for the lower part of the car. every saturday, i apply tire black para makintab yung tires.

- in between car washes, i clean my jazz using california car duster. basta dapat tuyo yung car and light lang yung paggamit mo sa ccd. maganda yung ccd kasi hindi ma-s-scratch yung car.

- every other weekend, i wax using plain carnauba wax.

- quarterly, i plan to bring the jazz to big bert's for paint protection.

hehehe, gusto ko talaga i-spoil yung jazz ko.

anong tire black po gamit nyo? kasi may nabasa ako dito sa forums na yung Harry's tire black nakakasira daw ng gulong... kaya Armor all gamit nila...

parang duster lang po ba yung california car duster? pangtanggal ng alikabok?

what brand po ng carnauba wax gamit nyo? totoo po ba na nakakanipis ng paint ung pagwawax?

OT: i saw 2 jazz on one day. one at the aguinaldo h-way in front of zeibart imus, i think si chadmack yun, nakatint and color blue eh. pauwi na cguro? and one black dyan sa may caloocan sa bdo , in front ng dolors kakanin. nandun sa may parking ng ek ata ung dating automall parking na cya ngaun ng bdo. hehehe
