i manage to get mine kanina from Honda Makati, 1.5V cerulean blue :D ok naman, in fact ok na ok naman ako sa kanya. though talagang mataas ang psi ng gulong kapag bago talaga, nung nicheck ko sa shell eh nasa 40PSI sya, kaya pala sobrang tagtag, ayun, umok yung ride after maibaba ko sa 30.

sabi nung SE eh nde na daw kailangang ibreak in nga daw yung sasakyan and itong jazz na ito eh ang change oil na eh every 6mos na daw.

ok naman hatak nya, kahit sa D mode lang, i managed to attain 120kph kanina without me noticing it, kasi parang nasa 3K rpm lang sya on the highest gear. at nakakaaliw yung FC meter nya. ill post some updates soon as time goes, pero im very satisfied with my purchase naman.

Mga bossing, tanong ko lang opinion nyo sa kulay. haha! kasi bibili ako ng Jazz na 1.5. Tumawag yung SA today ng Honda Pasig na magkakaron na nga raw ng delivery ng Cerulean Blue today. Kaya lang di pa umorder mom ko kasi pnapabenta pa muna tong isang sasakyan namin. Pero in the mean time pagiisipan ko munang mabuti kung anong kulay kukunin ko.

Choice ko kasi eh between Blue or Red. Di ko masyado type yung white at yung silver at ayaw ng parents ko ng black.

So Rallye Red or Cerrulean Blue? Di ko kasi masabi kung ano talaga mas maganda dahil di pa ko nakakakita ng 1.5 na Rallye Red. Eh medyo magkaiba itsura nung 1.5 sa 1.3 in terms of mga bumpers,etc. so gusto ko lang malaman ung opinion ng mga tao dito.

Last note, kaya medyo naghehesitate ako sa blue dahil parang andami dami na puro blue yung gusto. hahaha!

IMO, the Cerulean Blue looks a bit femine. (No offense to any owners). As for the red, I'm not so sure if this could age well (meaing if this shade of red will still look "cool" in a few years down - notice how the "passion orange" on the EK Civic SIR looked awkward after a few years later). I would avoid both white or black, as they are high maintenance colors. White stains easily. While for black, swirl marks are very evident.

In the end, if it were me, I would pick the Silverstone Metallic (gray). Not that its the best and most outstanding color avaialble, but its the least "evil" of the lot. It is subtle compared to the flashy blue or flamboyant red. Maintenance wise it is better than the white or black. Finally, this color is unique to the 1.5 li variant.

Note: Silver is only available on the 1.3 li variant.

Should I get a 1.3 AT or 1.5 AT (top of the line)? Price difference is only 50Thou.

Primary concern is FC but I can shell out extra if the 1.5AT is worth it.

Choosing between the 1.3 A/T and 1.5 A/T, since 50k lang ang difference, go for the 1.5 na. Reviews in US say that konti lang ang difference in FC for the 2 variants, pero ang daming add-ons ng 1.5 like the security alarm, front grille, rear bumper, side sill garnish, tail pipe, driver's seat height adjuster, power fold side mirror, side turn lamp on door mirror and syempre, paddle shifter. yun nga lang, walang mud guard yung 1.5

ok some updates, i managed to attain a nice FC(15km/L) for my first 100+km, mga 30% spirited driving, 40% normal and 30% nakatutok sa nakakaaliw na FC meter :D 131km on an 8.68L of fuel, same station and same pump. tapos karaniwang traffic pa yan(ortigas to guadalupe, then slow moving sa alabang - san pedro exit) with some uphill traffic dito sa may carmona. so kung medyo tipid tipid ka talaga, im sure this baby can deliver good FC and having the confidence to step on the pedal kapag me mga bus na umaapura sayo or gigitgit hehehe.

aircon, ok yung aircon nya, considering wala akong tint and its freakin hot out there, nde ako lumalampas sa blower 2 and normally blower 1 lang and with 3-5 clicks of temp.

medyo hirap lang tanchahin yung harap kasi nde talaga kita pero im getting comfy naman na and it just needs a little getting used to i guess. kahit nga yung A pillars nya medyo nakakailang din pero, masasanay rin malamang. mas um-OK yung rear view nung nilagyan ko ng wide mirrors(im more of a rear-view mirror guy din kasi at nde naman ako palasingit din)

yung ride comfy nya, ok naman, not as great as that of a CRV gen 3 and medyo comparable naman sya sa civic na. i drove 2hours going home kanina and nde naman sumakit pwet ko, and im sure it will be better if you could put on some leather/ette covers.

astig! 15km/li!?!?!?!? Sulit na sulit to pang-araw-araw! I live in QC, tapos sa Ortigas work ko. Pero most of the time, client call ako sa South Area, either batangas or laguna kasi andun yung malalaking manufacturing companies.

at last i got mine yesterday. they even gave me 3 free honda tshirt for not delivering the vehicle last saturday. my agent advice me to put an epoxy/glue at the antenna to deter the antenna hugot boys.

for the insurance i choose malayan, got some freebies from them as well.

Kamusta FC mo so far RC-V? Kung 15km/L nga talaga yung magiging FC for normal, city driving, here are my computed savings.

Assumption: gas * 51 pesos / L, diesel * 49 pesos / L

My old crosswind used to run at 9km/L. When you compare that to the new Jazz running at 15km/L, for every 5000 petot worth of gas/diesel, you get to run the jazz for 552.22km more!!!

Agan, comparing the two, for every 1000km, the new jazz will save PhP2044.44. Laki din ng savings!

so far average FC 12km/l city driving short trips pa lang. balik casa ako, may nakita kasi akong small paint chip off sa may edge ng hood pati sa likod malapit sa pagitan ng antenna and door.

nagtanggal na din ako ng mga stickers na nakalagay sa mga windows, nahirapan ako yung sa denr sa front windshield. pangti naman kasi kung front whole windshield tint tapos nakalagay yung sticker na yun.

I also picked up my unit today - it's my first Honda. I picked up my kids (7 & 9) and the yaya and they commented that the back seat was as roomy as the Innova.

The 10-km drive home from the casa was fun. I've been used to stepping gingerly on the Innova's pedal in order to maximizw my fuel consumption (6.9Km/l) but it looks like I don't have to try hard with the Jazz to hit mid-teens. The Jazz seems to be quite spirited and I'll find out for sure once I hit the road to Tagaytay tomorrow.

It's my first 'small' car and I love the view thru the A-pillars - they're no blind spots unlike the Innova. But I have to get used to getting blinded everytime I stare at the rearview mirror as it seems to be as high as everybody's headlamps.

I love the fold-down-flat seats - a feature I couldn't find in the local vans/AUV's - and I have to say that, aside from the FC, I got this unit for that feature alone.

I got the 1.5A/T variant and I am a little disappointed that it doesn't have fold-down arm rests and a USB port for iPods plus a few other neat features that the manual happily declared to my utter consternation.

Here's looking forward to 10 enjoyable years with my Jazz.
