Depende what you mean by malakas?? The Jazz has a variable valve timing w/ intelligence gasoline engine which they call i-VTEC. The gasoline engines normally have higher horsepower than diesels (although the gap is closing fast as modern diesels now have gasoline like horsepower). Higher horsepower presumably gives you better mid speed accelration and higher top speed. CRDi on the other hand has way more torque sometimes double that of an equivalent gasoline engine. That means more torque gives you low speed accelration yung tipong accelration coming of a stoplight. Great for city driving and overtaking annoying jeepneys!High torque also gives you pulling power and climbing power. So when you are towing something or you are trying to climb a steep hill with a lot of passengers or cargo onboard CRDi is superior to gasoline. CRDi also has better fuel economy and as you know diesel is cheaper than gasoline. Overall I say CRDi is better than gasoline engine in city driving.
Personally I am not sure tagal na ako di nakapunta ng Baguio. Pero ideally a diesel engine would work better on climbing... But maybe kung di naman mabigat a gas engine should be ok.
same here... pure city driving as in may traffic jam na nadadaanan. Route ko from mandaluyong to makati. Gapang/jam sa makati ave... i think reasonable nayun... walang long stretch of road akong dinadaanan at max ko ata is 50kph... yung dati kong car 6km/l lang kaya happy nako sa 10. Pag highway nga kayang 20 basta walang hataw mode tataas pa itobtw 1.3MT lang ako

mano mano po ba kayo nagcocompute ng FC niyo? i mean ibbase niyo sa kung ilang L ang kinarga niyo at yung distance covered niyo tapos divide nalang? or mayroong mas madaling paraan?
Hi to all Jazz Owners and Enthusiasts, I'm planning to buy a car this september.. at honda jazz 1.3S MT yung gusto kong bilhin.. First time buyer and car ko ito kung sakali..
No idea ako how the process of buying goes at kung pano makipag negotiate sa mga sales agent..
Any suggestions kung:
2. At ano pang pwedeng i-haggle aside sa normal freebies?
3. My nagbibigay po kaya ng cash discount?
5. Do's and don'ts pag nkikipag negotiate sa mga sales agent?
Thanks!
Medyo mahirap talaga mag negotiate sa Honda kasi one-price policy sila. They may not be as price-flexible as other dealers.
1. Freebies usually include 3M tints, seatcovers, keychain, umbrella. Don't expect cash discount if the unit is selling well. Try to haggle for a little cash discount, waived LTO, accessories, etc. but don't expect it.
2. & 3. ^ See above.
5. Be firm but courteous to the SA. Mas asikasuhin ka nun
Reserve early kapag hot unit/color. Para hindi ka mainip hehehe.

12km/l on reading.. never computed it manual, but again from my earlier posts. one week ang tinatagal ng one full tank...
route: dasmarinas, cavite to pasay with side trips approximately 65kms a day.
last saturday my fuel lever just above the empty line (intay nalang umilaw)...and still at pasay. eventually umilaw na sa imus palang... but the remaining gas sustained and maked until i reached dasma pa.

here my jazz during washing....
and here are the dirt after one week usage...
the part that has no spec of dirts are done washing with just microfiber mitt and a reliable car shampoo.
Re: jayeatworld, xmb, jmpet626...
thanks for your inputs. Now that there are 4 of us with 10km/L mileage from the Jazz, I guess thats the real magic number for this model. I'll still try to squeeze in a kilometer or two per liter if i can. Road trip ako next month, i hope ill get bigger numbers
Thanks again!
