Nung nabili na namin, bumyahe kami mula banawe to anonas. Heavy traffic nung una sa may sto domingo then after nun all the way wala na traffic. Below 2k rpm lagi all the way, up to 60 kph ang takbo namin. Ang fc po nung kinuha namin eh 6.0k/l then nagimprove to 6.1k/l.

    Reset it.

And if you want to know your REAL FC, don't just settle for what the MID tells you. Do the full tank method:

    1. Fill up your car (full tank, automatic) and record your odometer reading.

    2. Travel several hundred kilometers.

    3. Fill up you car again (full tank, automatic) and record your odometer reading again.

    4. Divide the total kilometers travelled by the total fuel you filled up on your second full tank.

    5. The end result is your actual FC.

There are apps to help you monitor this. I recommend aCar for Android and Road Trip for iOS.

Update ko lang po kayo mga sir. Nireset ko po trip meter. And aun travelled a short distance. Had tire pressure checked. Running on 20 psi all tires. Had adjusted to 32 front 30 rear. Travel was from Anonas to camp karingal for macroetching. Total distance travelled according to reading is 3.8 km. average fuel consumption is 3.8 k/l. Enciuntered heavy traffic all the way AC is on most of the time since kasama ko po grandmother ko. Niread ko po casa records from previous owner po and last pms is 2013 pa at 7k km.

mga ka-tsikot, mag-iimprove pa kaya 'to? may nabasa ako na break in period hanggang 5000km?

2013 ang last oil change, hehehe engine oil could be very bad if it were conventional oil. Change oil again after 2500km.

First run with the cheapest shell helix engine oil for petrol for 2500km then get royal purple with API-SL, 5w30 or 10w30. It has the best anti wear additive package. Zddp is high.

Fuel consumption? Ok rin naman, matipid rin naman siguro. All i know, 1.5 L ang engine nya compare sa 1.3 L na engine na Honda City 99 lxi model na gamit namin. Advantage lang nya is more power sya sa arangkada, sa rektahan naman baka parehas lang naman siguro consumo.

Share ko lang fuel consumption ko:

San Pedro Laguna > BGC > San Pedro Laguna = 18km/liter (Around 60km) + Most of the time 80-100kph takbo
