May 4th, 2010 11:38 AM #414hello readers!
city '99 Exi po ang gamit ko..
i gas up XCS with e10

Napansin ko din yan actually when I switched to E-10, pero ala naman tayong magagawa so I guess live with it. :hysterical:
Try using Shell Unleaded, baka sakaling gumanda. Saakin kasi from Flying V's AV Gas I switched to Shell Unleaded, pansin ko gumanda yung FC ko.

coming from XCS to Shell Premium, mas malakas pa din hatak ng XCS. ramdam na ramdam ko siya nung pag switch ko before. Pero mas maganda FC ko sa Premium so i'll take savings kesa sa hatak. :D

Not bad eh? Hataw mode ang driving style, pag nag oovertake pedal to the metal para ma extract ang power across the rpm band hehehe then steady gas na. 100kph nasa 1800 yung rpm ko

May 17th, 2010 12:25 AM #419Car: 1996 LXi A/T 1500 with stock wheels and tires
Fuel: Petron XCS
Filled-tank then reset trip meter to 0 on May 12
Driving conditions:

- Pasig-SLEX-Calamba-then back to Pasig (distance of 100km with max speed of 110kph with traffic jams of approx. 1 hour to and from * SLEX-Bicutan-Sucat-Alabang area)
- Pasig-Megamall-Pasig (approx 20km)
- Pasig-San Juan Batangas (SLEX then STAR)-Pasig (distance of 290km with max speed of 110kph * both SLEX and STAR. Approx. 2 hours of total traffic jams to and from * SLEX Sucat-Alabang area)
Full Tank refill on 16-May: 38 liters
Trip Meter Reading: 420.3 kms.
Fuel Consumption: 11.06 km/L (mixed / highway & traffic)

Considering the approximately 3 total hours of crawling traffic during the times I have to drive south, I’m quite content with the mileage I got for now. I intend to continue measuring my fuel consumption on full highway driving (no crawling traffic) and in full city driving.
