So far, 13-14Km/L mixed (provincial roads/TPLEX/SCTEX) using Petron Blaze. Only 900Km on the odometer, so this may change once I rack up more miles.

Kaya ba mag 20km/l sa SCTEX TPLEX.

    According to Honda,
The Civic 1.5 RS Turbo records an impressive 27.56km/L from Petron Clark via SCTEX-TPLEX * maximum speed of 80km/h with full blast air conditioner.

Ako kasi nasa break-in period pa, and sabi sa manual, varying engine revs dapat. One more thing, I max out at 130-140 sa expressway (I know bawal, wala naman ibang cars when I do this).

If I turn on Eco mode and maybe use cruise control, or limit the revs to around 1.7K & below, I'm sure I can get FC at or near that rate. I'll be traveling to Vigan next weekend (400km round-trip all on provincial highways) so I'll try to keep track of my FC and report back here

Nakakahiya gamitin Econ+Cruise Control. Mabilis pa mag accelerate mga truck.

Econ + CC on expressways lang, provincial roads have too much traffic for CC. You won't need much acceleration sa expressways.

Your fuel consumption will increase though at higher speeds.

You do need a bit of oomph or decent acceleration on expressways when trying to pass trucks and buses.

True. But to test how far I can stretch my FC, I'll have to avoid sudden acceleration/deceleration and limit the engine revs as much as I can.

I normally drive in a spirited (but safe) manner, mostly in S mode. I just wanted to find out how frugal the car can be.

I applaud you for being conservative with your engine revs and doing away with sudden acceleration/deceleration. Hehehe

On NLEX/SCTEX, I normally cruise at 120kmh and accelerate to a faster speed when passing other vehicles then back again to my cruising speed.

On SLEX/Skyway, it's useless to use cruise control so I tend to pass every slow car in front of me.

I'm taking it easy for the first thousand Km

I rarely get to use the car (once or twice weekly) so I usually take it out to TPLEX/SCTEX to stretch its legs a bit (average 100-110, max I did so far is 150). Weekdays, it just sits in the garage, gathering dust hahaha! I've had it for 4 months, with only a bit over 900Km traveled. After 1K Km, I'll resume my normal driving style.

Most local Honda vehicles are assembled in Thailand except a few like the Accord, Pilot, and Legend.

Baka naman hindi From 40 to 100 km/h?

Why are you driving at 40 kph on NLEX? That's way below the minimum speed limit.

I turn my cruise control on when I'm cruising. Hence the name.

Mga sir 96 civic vtec AT, yokohama sdrive tires with nitro (for stable pressure, hotter condition for normal air changes pressure kasi) user manual recommended NGK spark plug, castrol magnatec oil, petron xcs gas, user manual recommended air intake filter change, and very rare vtec use. 9.5km/l city driving, 12-14km/l highway.
