Good day to all. Planning to buy my first honda, and pasok sa budget civic FD. May differences po ba yung 1.8s ng years 06 07 and 08? If yes, anu anu po? And compared sa 1.8V, may ibang differences po ba aside sa mags and stock fog lamps?

2008 models up (body colored mudguards)
w/ ABS

Optitron Gauges
2008 models up, with auto speed sensing door locks.


If maliit lang diff, go for 1.8S

VSA only available on 2006-2008 2.0S and S-L.

Not sure if meron pa sa 09 up.

Browse OLX to get an idea of the range (420-500K depending on the seller. Some sellers can go as high as 700K because if mods) Factor in other things such as mileage, condition of the tires, brakes, suspension system, interiors, any modifications done etc. The 2.0S-L is also quite fuel-thirsty but very fun to drive on highways. Expect 6.6-7.5 kpl city, 9-10 kpl highway. If you drive it conservatively you might get better numbers but what's the point? Just get the 1.8S if you're after fuel economy.

Thanks for the response. I'll look for the stock ones since shelling out 500k is to much for an 06-07 car imo. What factors should i check extensively like sakit ng mga FD? Tia

- hub bearing
- rack and pinion

^ i agree that those are basically the common ailments nga of the fd. Replacement spare parts for them are not hard to find nanaman

But if you're going to get the 2.0 variant, you're going to be spared of the rack & pinion problem since the 2.0 is already electric power steering (eps) equipped

Apparently the 2.0 variant doesn't have the engine support problem that the 1.8 variants have. Not sure about the hub bearings but so far no problems with my 2.0S.

Thanks for the response. Based on my initial canvassing, ang hirap pala maka hanap ng 2.0S-L. its either sobrang mahal na (exteremely modified) or sobrang taas ng mileage (like 130K+). And sobrang konti din karamihan 2.0 AT

the entire assembly? or just the bulb?
if just the bulb, just replace the bulb. if the entire assembly... i think casa sells them in pairs... the cathay centers will probably also sell them in pairs, but at lower price.

if it's the whole assembly you need, i just saw a dlaa branded pair at olx.

but if you're looking for the stanley manufactured ones, i doubt you'll see those in the market anytime soon because as i understand, they're really hard to come by

It's very likely that only the bulb has gone bad. Mura lang naman replacement nun. If for some reason, you want or need a new set, get a DEPO branded set since they are made of glass, are well-sealed and comes with plug and play (no splicing) wiring harness. My set still looked shiny and new until the day I sold the car. It was 10 years old.

Normal lang ba kumukurap headlight ng 2011 fd? Vti-l australian version i think this is just the same 2011 S version jan satin. Hindi naman battery kasi minsan kumukurap kahit na nakarekta ako.

Yun nga din suspetsa ko sir kaso sinilip ko makina maayos naman lahat walang mga loose connection. Hindi rin naman sya humihina pag nagdagdag ka ng load like nagbukas ng ibang ilaw o ano pero may time talaga na kumukurap pansin na pansin lalo sa gabi. May nabasa akong forum sa sa ibang site na may ganitong sakit daw ewan ko kung isolated case lang. Pano ba checkin ground ng ilaw?
