Saan ang possible oil leak location usually pag may traces of oil sa garage floor?
First time kong nakita sa 2010 civic namin this morning. Tried lookin underneath but ground clearance is tight.

Update lang mga bros.

Damaged oil filter is the culprit... hindi siguro maganda ang lapat at sobrang higpit ang ginawa during the last oil change.
Vic oil filter ang available sa aking suking shop kaya yun ang pina-install ko. But bought 1 liter of oil from the casa for my top-up.

Sobra mura na yan basta maayos yung car...make sure walang hidden problem kaya benta ng mura.

thank you boss! mga ano po ba dapat ko titingnan when I go for a test drive? Been reading this thread and most problems are engine support and power steering. Is there any other specific usual "sakit" ng FD sir?

Pinapalitan ba timing chain? When I had a Nissan Sentra way, way back in college bearing lang pinapalitan never change the chain hanggang nawala na yun kotse.

^ actually hindi ako sigurado pero may cases daw kasi na nadadali din ng wear and tear or poor oil circulation kaya kinakailangan palitan

Timing belt ang fd natin paps not chain sa pagkakaalam ko.... normal life ng belt 80-120K klms pede ka na papalit kapag 80K+ at huwag na paabutin sa 120K mileage

Yup, timing chain is used in both the R18 and K20.

i finally replaced the burnt out rheostat bulb on my dashboard. ang tagal din dumating ng order ko na iyan via casa pero it took me all of 10 minutes to do the deed

Which light is this? hehe. Restoring our 10 YO FD. If it is cheap, I am interested!

^ iyong switch sa dimmer ng lights ng instrument gauge cluster. for a small bulb w/ a "condom", i won't exactly declare it as cheap. parang P300 + /bulb din siya sa casa (if i remember correctly) pero sulit din naman kasi ganda tingnan

bought several gaskets because i have an oil leak w/c suddenly sprung. already replaced the vtec spool gasket thingy but it wasn't the remedy i hoped it would be.

Sir baludoy, saan ka bumibili ng replacement ng wipers mo? Hirap humanap sa labas, at walang 23". Hindi ko pa nasubukan sa casa, pero isip ko agad mahal dun. Yung mga refill naman sa labas din, walang 10mm puro 8mm kaya di kasya.

nung mabasa ko ito, check ko agad warranty booklet, wala nga naka lagay na timing belt replace sa maintenance schedule!
