Normal ba sa AT na pag nag palit ka ng gear from Neutral/Park to Drive e may kadyot?

May 11th, 2015 04:16 PM #12What is the make and model of your car? Newer cars nowadays have little to no "shift shock" as we call it.
You may want to have your engine supports (and also transmission supports) checked for cracks as they tend to contribute to shift shock.

May 11th, 2015 07:00 PM #16I once had a similar car, a '96 CivicVTi (hence my nick). AFAIR, there was shift shock whenever I shift from Park to Drive or from Park to Reverse...although it was very slight. It was the same with an acquaintance's '98 Civic LXi matic when I drove it for a day. If all your engine and transmission mounts are intact and your AT fluid is in good shape, then you have nothing to worry about.

Nag woworry lang din kasi ako kasi 2nd hand ko binili yun kotse. Maraming problema na lumalabas na ngayon.
Mali daw yun timing ng timing belt. tapos nun binalik sa tama nag ooverheat.
Tapos mataas minor.
Mataas yun RPM reading. Naka steady sya sa 1500 kahit di umaandar. Pag nag aircon medyo bumababa.
- Mga paps patulong naman sa tanong na ito. Medyo concern ko ito e.

pero eto gawin mo, punta ka kay mel casaba (look for it sa waze joe mel car care service - pero lumipat na daw siya within the same location)
bili ka ng ganito:
yung goma na nakapalibot, mga less than 350 sa CASA same with alabang auto aprts.
magpa-full tune up ka kay pareng mel - it should cost you no more than Php 1k. kasama na sa less than 1k, pambili ng premium gas pang linis ng internals.
after that, i aadjust lahat yan to factory specs. ayun, titino na ang RPM mo.

yung regarding the shift shock, tama si sir CivicvTi, mataas rpm, mataas shift shock.
ngayon sa overheat - as long as hindi umagat up to pass 3/4 ng temp gauge okay pa iyan (IMHO) ganyan civic ko dati. pero wag mo na palalain.
medyo masakit sa ulo pag isa isa, pero kahit hindi ko pa nakikita auto mo eto diagnosis ko:
1. bili ka ng bagong radiator (2.5k pang AT, kay LVC Banawe mura kasi siya)
2. patanggal mo lahat ng hose mo - sigurado ako corroded na yugn thermostat housing - yung akin nabutas na din dahil sa katagalan - mahirap gawin ito.
3. palit hose ka na din mga more or less 3k lahat ng hose.
