Parang ngayon lang din ako nakabasa ng case na bigla na lang 'di nagana yung key fob. Ang mas nakakatakot e kapag 'di nagana ang push start >n<

Kung ako, baka buksan ko pareho nung keyfob tas icompare ko kung baka may makita ako na magkaiba hehe.

Nawala na ako sa bilang sa nakikita ko umilaw (warn) yung push start indicators for VX/VX+

Naisip ko rin yun pero ayoko i-risk na magloko pa yung nag-iisang gumaganang fob.

Anyways, gumagana na yung key fob! Yes!

Matapos ang ilang beses na baklas/kabit biglang gumana yung key fob pero low batt ang display sa dash. Nasa 3.22V ang open circuit voltage ng batt (Sony).
Yung luma na Energizer nasa OC 3.0V lang. Bumili ulit ako ng Energizer. 3.15v ang OC voltage pero hindi low batt sa display ng oto.

it happened to my non-honda, just last week.
i parked the car and locked it using my fob, as is usual. but a few hours later, i tried to unlock the car using the same fob. the fob's pilot light was lighting up as if nothing was wrong with the fob or the battery, but the car wouldn't unlock.
i took a chance and bought a replacement battery in the nearby 7-11.
ayun! replacing the battery did the trick.

inquire also from the insurance providers in your casa.
some of them are industry rates or just a wee bit more (toyota ako).
at tumawad po kayo. natatawaran po yan.
i also remove my AOG clause. sayang rin.

FWIW, sir, I find Malayan Insurance's premium to be cheaper than most, all things being equal.

PMS time once again. Tanong ko lang kung required ba yung mga parts and services na naka box. The PMS is for 40,000 kms / 2 years. I opted in for the engine wash kaya hindi sya naka box.

Not required. Meron dun sa checklist mga standard to do during PMS sched, wala yang mga yan.

Ano daw yang “revalidation” na yan? Hehe

Tinanong ko na and yan daw yung re-application ng undercoat. Hehe. Di ko alam kung necessary pa magpa-undercoat kasi parang ang mahal. The rest of the items na hindi naka box, greenlight ko na ba?

Nasa 17,7xx KMS na yung oto. Tanong ko na lang sa SA kung pwede i-move sa 50 kms yung fuel filter.

BTW, yung RP REVALIDATION daw is rustproofing re-application. Pwede ko na kaya i-skip to? What do you guys think?

Baba pa pala mileage mo, saken yung SA mismo nagsabi na imove ko na lang sa 50K PMS (2.5yrs)

Never din ako nag avail nung rustproof, even nung bago ko irelease City ko hindi ko pinagawan.

I hope I made a good call on that hehe

sa Honda SPA lagi nila inaalok saken yan.

Pinapaalis ko lagi.

Hindi yan mandatory.

Mine is a GM1 (2010) mt, odo as of late is around 170k km already, and never had the following:

- rust proofing
- change ng spark plug
- change ng fuel filter

And the car still make a good 13.5km/li.

Though medyo mabagal na acceleration, so i think need to have the spark plugs changed or even the fuel filter changed na rin soon.

After warranty had lapsed i made a point to do COI * 6mos interval or 5k km whichever comes first using mineral oil (valvoline premium 10w-30) rather than spending too much on synthetic oil at extended km. It did well for me and the car.

Btw, anyone here have their serpentine belt changed?

Mine was changed last 3rd year PMS just this December.
