I have a question. Pwede po kaya mag file ng claim ulit while there is an ongoing claim? Nagkaroon kasi ng deep scratches sa harap at sa likod yung city ko while my driver is parking it sa garage. Nasabit sa gate.

Yung una kasi wala pang LOA. I dont know how long it is going to take. Previous case, 3 weeks ago, is hit and run naman. Nasstress na ako [emoji26]

Wifey just called and said City won't start. She said it seems like the battery is dead since the horn is not working and she can't even lock it, she tried using both keys. We just had the car on it's 1K pms last Dec. 27th. She said when she tried starting it, the brakes was hard when she stepped on it to push start and nothing happens. Anyway ideas what's wrong?

I have already told her to call Honda.

she mightve left the light on? that could cause the smaller batteries to drain

    my wild guesses:
    1. someone left something on, overnight, and drained the battery dead.
    2. the battery in your car now, is "not the battery you bought with the car".

still, try push-starting it. baka puede pa. some EFIs are very easy to push-start, unlike the carb'd cars of olde.

    good luck.

She tried push starting it but wala na daw . . . cannot even lock the doors so manual ang lock nya. She called the local battery shop to see if they can take a look at the quality of the battery and if they can jump start it.

Well, she told me she didn't leave anything "on" daw. The last time she drove the car was last Friday. So, hopefully, it's just the battery and an easy fix.

    Thanks again.

we encounter stories here and there...
    "kinahoy ang kotse ko!"

if the car starts fine with just a battery change, then it's probably just a dead battery causing the problem.
but i would have the car's electrical system and alternator checked, to make sure it's the battery and not something else causing the battery to die.
i mean, batteries of cars with only 1000 km on the odometer, do not just die for no reason.

    BTW!!!
that car battery of yours is probably still under warranty! have the casa do all the checking! don't let a non-casa person touch it, lest warranty be void!

Thanks Doc. Have scheduled it with Honda to check why the battery drained. My wife swears that she didn't leave anything on, I told her that it would have been easier if she did since that would have explained the battery drain, but since she supposedly turned off everything, then it's a mystery why the battery drained. Like you said, the battery won't just die for no reason.

Anyway, hope casa will enlighten me on why the battery died.

1 year warranty for the battery.

If wala naman naiwan si wifey mo, malamang palitin na talaga.

My stock battery lasted 16 months only.

Hindi natin alam gaano na katagal nakakabit yun prior narelease satin yung car.

May nabasa ako somewhere na may option yung City na pag nag engage ka ng reverse gear, maglit up ang reverse light at the same time mag on ang hazard lights? Pano gawin yun? Cant seem to find sa manual?

Update: So, took the car to Honda casa yesterday morning and was told to leave the car the whole day for them to check why the battery drained. When I picked it up, I was told they checked the battery charge and it was still high (SA said they couldn't charge it na daw kasi puno naman daw battery). They also did a thorough check on any electrical or item that might have caused the battery to drain. They said they didn't find anything. So, ang sabi lang is that at least nasa record na nila in case it happens again, they have a record of it. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens again. My wife still swears she didn't leave anything on to have caused it.

May intermittent electrical issues na rin akong na-experience within first 6 months:

    1. Non-responsive steering wheel audio control. Came back after a few days' cycle of starts and shutdowns.

    2. Unable to connect bluetooth: Also fixed itself after a few days.

Looks like unstable circuit connections lang that might get loosened by jolts.
Sana di affected ang safety-related features like airbags.
