Meron na ba sa inyo nasira yung fan motor?
Dun sa akin, honda city 2014, nag-oeverheat daw nung isang araw, 'tas nung tinignan, hindi umiikot yung fan sa radiator, pareho.
Pinalitan sa Honda Kal ngayon, 14k daw gastos.

Anyone had a similar experience?

14k pesos??? That's highway robbery bro! Sa amin mga 1k lang ang aabutin nyan using a good china-made fan.

Salamat sa replies. Nagbackread nga ako, at may apat ata na nagsabi na nasira fans nila for 2014 Honda City.
Yung sa akin, pinagawa na ng kapatid ko sa Honda Kal kanina.

Motor, Fan Radiator = 5,641
Motor Cooling Fan, Condenser= 5,641
Labor = 1,920

After 10% discount sa labor at 7% discount sa parts, 12,231 ang total expense. 6 months warranty nung bagong parts.

Mine will be 5 years na sa January, hindi masyado nagagamit 20k pa lang odo.

I asked same question sa trusted mechanic ko kung ano symptoms ng aux fan when about to fail. Sagot niya is to just wait until it conk out.....hehehe

Overheating ang maging problema jan pag nasira ang aux fan.

Your 5year old car is young compred to mine. I have gm1 and my aux fan is still running good.

my 1997 sentra drove me bonkers!
for several months, i had been experiencing overheating engine. aircon wasn't as satisfying anymore.
cars back then, had needle gauges and not idiot leds or lcds. abnormal engine temp was easy to see.
i knew something was abnormal, because, when brand new, the temp needle would always be just below 1/2, regardless of time of day or traffic condition.
mine was showing a temp needle already above the 1/2 mark. sometimes 3/4 of the way.
the radiator's overflow cannister would get very hot, boil, and even dry up. i was losing radiator coolant.
i kept inspecting the engine bay, and everything seemed to be functioning fine. no visible leaks in the radiator nor the cap. hoses were fine. malakas ang hangin ng aux fans.
finally, an old-timer mechanic saw me peering at the engine bay. one look and a hand in the bay, and he concluded, "mahina na auxiliary fans mo."
sabi ko, "malakas naman ang tapon ng hangin, a!"
sabi niya, "mukhang malakas lang. kuha tayo ng brand new, at makikita mo kung gaano talaga dapat kalakas ng hangin niyan."

Yung paghina buga ng aircon, feeling ko e baka nangyayari na dati pero mahirap tanyahin siguro kung yun lang ang basehan.

5 years na rin yung akin, pero mga 90k na siguro odo nung sa akin, o lagpas.

Na experience ko na yung sobrang hina ng buga ng aircon, pero ang problem pala is yung aircon filter ko, sobrang dumi na at parang inaamag na lagi ko kasi pina paalis sa PMS ko kasi bihira naman gamitin city.

Nung pinalitan, parang bago na ulit aircon, kahit 1 lang lakas ng buga.

-Palit starter (pina palitan ko sa labas umabot 4k, sa casa 18k)
-Yung back passenger window sa likod ng driver, delay yung power window, minsan tino topak ayaw bumaba.

Does it work that way? Baka more of pag nag red ilaw warning you pa lang na about to overheat ka na.

Parang stupid naman na iilaw siya by the time na overheating na talaga. I’m thinking like the needle gradually going up, yan din yung time na iilaw siya.

Hindi ako designer ng vehicle pero ang simple naman siguro nung concept na yung instruments are there to warn you ahead.

my owner's manual isn't so helpful, either.
it simply gives generic instructions geared towards minimizing engine damage...

the issue is probably psychological. but it's a very effective psychological effect.

I used 185/60/R15 on my stock rims nung napudpud na yung 175/65/R15 ko.

it simply gives generic instructions geared towards minimizing engine damage...

the issue is probably psychological. but it's a very effective psychological effect.

If its blinking red, then temp is going up na. Pag steady red, thats the breaking point. But either way, best is to stop then let it cool down first.

one of my keyfob is no longer working. even after replacing the battery and cleaning the terminals.

does anyone has any idea how much for a new fob? has anyone experienced the same?

i'm assuming aside from the unit cost Honda might include a reprogramming fee to make it work on my car.

Ano yun biglaan hindi na lang gumana? Yun ba ang daily keyfob mo?

So far no issues saken, just replaced the batteries nung gamit ko daily and yung spare keyfob.

Yes, daily key fob ko for the last 2 years (dahil mas maganda yung keychain [emoji16]) yung spare gumagana pa. Napalitan ko na ng battery. Minsan umiilaw yung indicator kapag pinindot pero wala response. Hindi nabasa o nagbagsak yung keyfob

Parang ngayon lang din ako nakabasa ng case na bigla na lang 'di nagana yung key fob. Ang mas nakakatakot e kapag 'di nagana ang push start >n<

Kung ako, baka buksan ko pareho nung keyfob tas icompare ko kung baka may makita ako na magkaiba hehe.
