I am new here sa tsikot, but have some time na with my city vx.
I am planning to change rubber na rin kasi, feeling ko kasi papapalitan na pagdating ng service ko this month.

Sir jettp0gi, mga ka GM6, ok lang ba ang 205/50R16 sa stock rims ng city vx?

mukhang ok lang sir. overall diameter is almost the same 75.55 vs 75.39. not sure lang kung may rubbing sa fender dahil sa lapad

Yung VX 16" natin na stock rim Sir may kabigatan din daw as per Sir jettpogi. nasa 9~ kg per wheel satin. Habang yung Wedssport SA15-R na gamit nya 16" din pero nasa 6~ kg per wheel lang yung weight nung aftermarket RIM nya.

Regarding the weight. Here are my notes.

Sabi ni Sir jettpogi, kasya naman daw sya Sir, medyo may bulge lang daw, pero konti lang naman daw.

Then for the bulge, ito ung close up ng 205/50R16 sa 16x6.5. So expect a little more bulge (around 1/4" more) kung stock Vx wheels ang pagkakabitan.

Nice data on the weights.

For comparison, my Civic's stock 16" rims with 215/55R16 tires weigh 44 lbs (20 kg) while my new Accord V6 18" rims with 225/40R18 tires weigh 51 lbs (23 kg).

Quite odd that the Civic's wheels are 3 kg heavier than the City VX's even if both are 16s. Didn't expect the wider tires and 5-hole patter to add that much weight.

Tingin ko reasonable naman. The Civic's wheels are wider than the City's (16x7 vs 16x6). The Civic's tires are also wider (215mm vs 185mm) and have taller side walls (118mm vs 102mm). Pati ung concentration ng materials sa pag-gawa ng tires baka may factor din (silicon, rubber, plastic, nylon, etc.). Not to mention we used different weighing scales so that may be another factor too.

My Accord rims are 18x8 vs 16x7, with wider tires, 225 vs 215, but 3kg lang din difference. Which is good I guess, means the bigger rims don't have as much a weight penalty.

Yeah, notice how the 17x7 Rays Homura is lighter than the 16x6 Vx wheels. They're both cast. Quality lang din talaga siguro ng pagkakagawa.

mga sir ask lang ako input kung ano mas ok na engine oil sa city, due for change oil na kase ako this week and pinagpipilian ko either 5w30 or 5w40 ilalagay ko.
Ano po mas bagay sa climate natin? and malaki ba difference nung dalawa in terms of fuel economy and acceleration/engine response? ayoko kase gumamit nung 0w20 na pnopromote ng honda, masyado malabnaw na yun para sa climate natin. Btw 15k+ mileage ng gm6 ko. Baka may marecommend din kayo after market brand ng engine oil. kung mag 5w40 kase ako plan ko gamitin Bardahl, pag 5w30 di ko pa sure either motul, mitasu, mag1 or mobil1 yan kase nakikita ko na available pag nagtitingin ako. TIA!

it is prudent to follow the manufacturer's advice. check the owner's manual, or ask the casa.

Thanks for the response sir! sa casa ok lng sa kanila 0w20, 5w30 or 5w40 since yan yung mga viscosity ng honda oil, pero pag di mo sinabi preferred oil mo matic ilalagay nila 0w20 pag may stock sila. Sa manual naman po till 5w30 recommended pero indicated din na pwede naman gumamit higher grade oil. Pansin ko kase sa shell, caltex and petron ang meron lang sila is 5w40...so naisip ko lang baka dahil ito yung mas suitable sa climate natin kaya di sila naglabas na ng 5w30 dito.

i'd choose 5W30, as that's what the manual says.

- I assume it's the oil viscosity, we can also use thicker than 5w30 if we opt to. That's my understanding po, I also tried searching sa google what oil grade really mean...and the results are pointing to oil viscosity.

Mga ka GM6, sino na dito merong Piano Black Plasti-dipped na Grille? Preferably taffeta white color, or kahit anong color pa. Or if wala po ganun satin, sinu po may reference photos?

Salamat sir, yan na yung pinaka malapit so far na reference na hinahanap ko. I think ok na din yung glossy na piano black color, tapos yung Honda Logo hindi ko papa kulayan.

Parang yung black glossy color sa baba ng chrome yung nasa lower lip.

Nakapag change oil na ulit after 10k Kms, same viscosity 0W-20 pero ibang brand Dahil walang mahanap na dati kong gamit, palit din ng Fumoto valve SX series para Hindi na tangalin splash cover next time

I got my city last night. 2018E. first car ko kaya maraming tanong.

1. In-house financing ako since low dp yung kinuha kong option. So, no choice ako sa insurance. Eto yung premium na babayaran ko:
1st year - free
2nd year - 16k+
3rd year - 15k+
4th year - 14k+
5th year - 13k+
Question: malaki ba talaga difference pag sariling insurance na lang? kasi kung ganun, i will pay na lalang the 1st year para succeeding years mas makakamura pa.

2. Bawal pa rin sya ibiyahe without or/cr? planning to bring it to manaoag this Sunday.

3. Ga'no katagal po ba usually magrelease ng or/cr? Sa Honda Marcos Highway ako kumuha.

4. Sabi nung dealer, sa EastWest Bank ko na daw kukunin or/cr ko after 30 days. Ganun po ba talaga?

1. Yes that free is not really free, bawi din nila sa premiums. I got a free from my bank, pero nung nakita ko yung premium quotation for the incoming years binayadan ko na lang yung free.

3. No idea. Pero dapat mabilis na processing ng dealers given the circumstances na bawal nga ibyahe.

it is "free", in the sense that one does not have to fork over additional money. but yes, in truth, "kinasama na nila yan sa purchase price".
some require that car buyer get the insurance from them. others do not require so. you will have to ask them.
OR CR, either casa or bank. you have but to ask the two, who has it. it should not be a problem, if these guys are honest.
