if its a light drizzle minsan park lights minsan wala.
pag malakas, fog lamps on.
pag super lakas na as in wala na kong makita kahit hindi pa gabi at nasa expressway ako, i'm gonna crawl sa rightmost lane with hazzard on.

yea headlights on its for everyones safety din naman so other drivers can easily spot you and you can easuly see them too... its like a marker na din while its pouring
when it rains, i turn on my park lights and fogs. when i'm on the skyway and it rains, those plus lo beam. i don't turn the high beam as well as the hazards on. the high beam will bounce back to me, while the hazards will, IMO, confuse other motorists. i just make sure that my taillights are working, as well as my rear fogs.
park lights when the rain is tolerable and low beam when it pours.
its fine na low beam lang... pero kung ganito ang humarap sa akin:

have courtesey naman..
nasanay na sa subic when i was still employed there, kaya u.s. style din...low beam headlights on when wipers are on, no hazard lights.
pag ambon lang foglamps at parklights
pero pag heavy na ang ulan .low beam na ako
i've seen this one in SLEX before:
hard rain + everyone driving at least 60kph = very very low visibility![]()
everyone has their headlights on, and about 60% had their hazards on. then there was this stupid driver in a GSR who overtook using the shoulder. The problem was there was a stalled car in the shoulder with his hazards on too. driver in GSR swerved back into the slow lane almost hitting a mercedes who swerved to the passing lane where me (in my lancer) and a friend in front (in an SiR) to evade the collision.
![]()
so naturally me and my friend in front of me stepped hard on the brakes, lest chaos and death ensue.![]()
buti na lang magaling den yung truck driver sa likod ko at hinde ako inabot![]()
pag light drizzle no, pag heavy downpour na of course. Pero pag-late afternoon na i switch 'em on kahit na ambon lang so depends on the time of the day
park lights on pag mejo low visibility, pag mejo nahihirapan na tlaga, ON na din headlights
park lights or head here too, depending sa visibilty. pero pag kasama ko gf ko at sobrang lakas ng ulan..eh sa motel muna para magpatila kuno....dangerous road ahead eh.![]()
When i used my windshield wipers, automatically, i switch on my lights- park or headlights- depending on the degree of visibility. It became my habit already.
Pag mataas ang araw at umuulan hindi. Pag umuulan at hindi mataas ang araw i turn on my lights.
Ako mga 5pm pa lang or basta medyo dusk na, i turn on my headlights kasi maraming lumalabo ang mata (night blindness ata yon) pag pagabi na. So better be safe than encounter hassle. When i drive 100kph++ i turn on my high beams, warn with a honk when im about to pass. When it rains, Headlights (either low or high + foglights when visibility is really low) i don't turn on my hazards anymore kasi maliwanag naman tail lights ko.
