if its a light drizzle minsan park lights minsan wala.
    pag malakas, fog lamps on.
pag super lakas na as in wala na kong makita kahit hindi pa gabi at nasa expressway ako, i'm gonna crawl sa rightmost lane with hazzard on.

when it rains, i turn on my park lights and fogs. when i'm on the skyway and it rains, those plus lo beam. i don't turn the high beam as well as the hazards on. the high beam will bounce back to me, while the hazards will, IMO, confuse other motorists. i just make sure that my taillights are working, as well as my rear fogs.

    +1

pero ako, maski hindi required, i still have to turn it on, so i'm more visible to other motorists. marami kasing engot sa daan.

i've seen this one in SLEX before:

hard rain + everyone driving at least 60kph = very very low visibility

everyone has their headlights on, and about 60% had their hazards on. then there was this stupid driver in a GSR who overtook using the shoulder . The problem was there was a stalled car in the shoulder with his hazards on too. driver in GSR swerved back into the slow lane almost hitting a mercedes who swerved to the passing lane where me (in my lancer) and a friend in front (in an SiR) to evade the collision.

so naturally me and my friend in front of me stepped hard on the brakes, lest chaos and death ensue.

buti na lang magaling den yung truck driver sa likod ko at hinde ako inabot

When i used my windshield wipers, automatically, i switch on my lights- park or headlights- depending on the degree of visibility. It became my habit already.

Yan din ang naobserve ko pero hindi ko alam yang use headlights whenever using the windshield wiper. Pero it sounds reasonable at dapat talagang gawin iyon.

So better be safe than encounter hassle. When i drive 100kph++ i turn on my high beams, warn with a honk when im about to pass. When it rains, Headlights (either low or high + foglights when visibility is really low) i don't turn on my hazards anymore kasi maliwanag naman tail lights ko.

Honestly speaking di ko rin alam kung bakit kailangang naka-on ang headlights kung gamit ang wipers. Bakit kaya?...info pls !! ...thanks.
