Ngayon, hindi na. Pero, even after nearly a year that my tatay passed away, Citibank tried to bully us into paying. They sent a very threatening letter to my nanay, their lawyer (who was a bitch by the way) called me on the phone everyday threatening me. They resorted to every sort of dirty tactic.

An office mate of my wife had the same experience when her husband died. According to her office mate, Citibank allegedly couldn't care less that her husband died. They just want her to pay the P 20,0000 ASAP.

Kaya ako, I spit on their faces. P*****nang mga yan!

Problem is, we use Citibank checks to pay our suppliers abroad... I doubt na pwede yung Metro or BPI checks sa kanila . So for the meantime we'll stick with them, but if this ever happens again, we'll have to consider another alternative.

Ano ba ang nawala, bank statement(current or savings account) or credit card billing?

He he he

citibank checks to pay suppliers abroad... i'm assuming this is a dollar account... and since may other citibank branches din (at least in the ASEAN and HKG areas)... hmmm.. now i understand... may not be as easy as shifting banks...

but isn't paying through T/T an option? suggestion lang po naman... although if you pay using citibank checks in dollars na post dated din... then talaga mahirap nga talaga... i guess your tied up with either citibank or hsbc.. yung ibang banks eh mahirap nga talaga...

    Yup its a dollar account.

but isn't paying through T/T an option?
We also do that, but if the amount is small lets say under $1K, we usually airmail the check.
